888-427-1947

Actually received postcard, not a call.   “You have recently closed on your mortgage with XXXX BANK. We need you to call us about an important matter regarding this loan.  This is time sensitive so please call us at 888-427-1947 as soon as possible.”  Googled the # and it has several reports of SCAM.   At the bottom of the postcard in tiny print “All information provided by H.W.C.  888-427-1947. Not affiliated with, approved by, and loan information not provided by XXXX Bank.”

There is a warning posted by several Banks of this scam post card over the years, using a variety of numbers.

Received same postcard stating its about "an important matter regarding this loan".  It's a sales tactic!! Mortgage insurance scam!  Don't call!

I have received about 5 cards from these people since I moved into my new house.  I really wish something could be done about this kind of stuff.  Somebody is going to possibly lose everything they have being scammed like this; when is enough going to be enough.  The post card says HWC but, they are not the ones doing this scam.

Same story as many above. Received post card to call. Obviously a major scam. These people need to be caught.

I received a postcard a year after buying my house, seemed fishy since it was labeled for my old mortgage company. Glad I looked this up and found the number tagged to scam.
