- Not Crystal Evans| 2 repliesI have received harassing calls for over a year chasing Crystal Evans. I don't even know who that is but they persist. How do you make misdirected harassment stop?
- Caller: Curtis Payton Litigation
- Call type: Debt collector
- Alfalfa replies to Not Crystal EvansThe next time they call, demand a legitimate, physical mailing address in which to send a cease communication letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested. If they refuse, let them know you will be seeking legal counsel who will get it for you and will be filing a lawsuit against them for violations of the TCPA and FDCPA (harassing a non-debtor). That should get their attention.

- TiredThis # called to collect old debt from 2008 - I was not familiar with the info
so asked to mail me info so I could research and get back to him. He said
no Sheriff would be by to arrest me and he would see me in criminal court.
I am reporting to sheriff of my county - local police - and FTC. It is a crime
to threaten someone. If we all report to authorities maybe this will stop.

- CJEI've been getting calls asking for another person for about a week now. The recorded call asks for a woman I have never heard of saying that papers need to be served. When I call back to tell them they have the wrong number & have my number removed, I'm told it will be removed but get another call within 24-48 hours. I don't know If they were trying to scam another person, or if someone just grabbed another number out of the air when they ran up a debt (I've had this happen too). Needless to say I am still waiting for them to take my number off their list. I'll bee reporting this.

I believe we should have a class action suit filed against them - even if they
are collecting a legal debt their tactics are not legal. They are not a debt
collection agency the women told me when I told her she had five days
unpon contact to send me a debt validation letter. Then she hung up.
Her name was Victoria or Veronica?? Keep a record on how many times
they call.- Caller: Charles Dixon leaving a Robo call regarding legal papers being delivered

I've dealt with these people before. They are a hard-core group of people who hang out at someone's house and try to scam people by fear to pay them money. Dixon is the worst. He goes by Dickinson, or Dickson or Dixon. No one knows where these people hang out and nobody has been able to stop them.
Keep reporting them: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
