I got a charge on my account from this number and something saying NVS. It was in the total of $39.87. Every time I try to call they say it is the wrong number and was "routed" incorrectly or that they have a system error.

I too saw a charge on my account with this number for the same amount.... when i called they said that at this time multiple people are experiencing this and they have no clue what it is. Apparently the number routes you a customer service call center for multiple businesses which handle medical things???? I was told to call in two hours to see if they have any information.

I received the same amount of $39.87 as a debit from my account, called the 888 438 9250 and got the same answere as mkgirl; what the hell?

On what day did were the charges made? On my card it was on 07/10
I did not make the purchase. My bank says that I can call the claims dept. And dispute the charges looks like the only way to get the money back. I have been trying to call the number back but calls just end.

I received the same charge as everyone else, and have called a couple of times, only to be instructed to call later.  Now the call just instantly drops.  WTF!

Are all of you bank of america customers?  I have this charge showing on one of my accounts as well...

Everyone pay attention this is fraud.  You all need to call your banks and file a fraud report.  I caught this immediately on my account today because it was going to cause my bank account overdrawn and I never do that.  I called my bank and they put me in a conference call to the 8884389250 number and it disconnected.  My bank told me they have special software and they can retrieve anything.  They immediately closed my debit card.  I am so happy I took immediate steps.  My bank is not holding me responsible because they verified it.  I have to fill out a fraud form and send it back.  In the meantime, they are on it.

Everyone this is a scam.  I spoke with these people numerous times and first i was told it was from there Florida branch and their computer system was down.  I asked to speak to a manager and was told he just went into a meeting.  I called every hour until i got someone else and was told to call back in 2 hours.  I called back and was told to leave my name and number and i would be contacted to settle this once they knew what the issue was.  Now i called and it is dead air.  Everyone should file this claim with their bank and the police.

Got a 38.99 Charge from DWL, Called this number 888-438-9250, told me the database was down and too call back in 2 hours or they would call me back. Called my bank and filled fraud paper work. Signed an Affidavit, hopefully resolved soon as it caused my account to be overdrawn.

I, too, just noticed a charge on my debit card online statement for $38.99 from DWL. Will be filing the appropriate paperwork.

Just saw the same on my account for 38.99.  Called my bank and they filed a dispute for me but it will take 10 days.  This has to be a scam.  I get disconnected everytime I call.

same scenario with me.  DWL charged my account 38.99. I did not sign up for any membership, nor do I know how they got my information.  I tried calling them all day long on 07/12/10. They repeatedly told me there "systems were down, and I would have to call back in 3-5 business days." Now, my call get's instantly dropped.  I have had to call my bank and file a fraud report etc.....how do these people get away with stuff like this????

I am a Bank Of America, So is my boyfriend but don't know if this has happened to him.

I had a charge from this DWL on sunday July 11th about 11:30.  I called the number on my bank statement, this 888 number and they said the same thing about being routed calls that weren't supposed to come to them.  They said call back monday so I did, and the same company said that they had just been told about a hour ago that the phone company was supposed to have it fixed to the right number within two hours.  Now the number will pick up and then disconnect immediatly!  Call your banks people and cancel your cards!!!!  This is crazy that the amounts are so similar, mine being $38.99 and there is no way to get in touch with these people.  IT'S FRAUD!!!!!

I got the same info on my banking statement. It was posted on 07/10/2010 for $38.95. I called the fraud department at Bank Of America on this. It is completely Fraud!! Would it do any good to let the police know? I did not receive a call from these people at all. I called the first time and was told to call within business hours on Sunday when I called. today nothing but disconnection.

same thing happened to me. DWL for 33.99 but my bank is wellsfargo

I just got one for this weekend and I tried calling the number and it does not pick up.  I am calling my credit union first thing in the morning and file fraud charges.  It was not a call, it was a charge that just appeared on my account for no reason.  I asked my husband and he didn't know what it was either.  It had the same phone number that everyone else has listed.  Don't know who they are or what they are.  Beware, I am very upset because this is going to cause my account to overdraw.

I was doing some investigating on line because apparently there are other numbers listed on line for these people.  I called 1-888-403-2136 and spoke with a representative who processed a refund request for me.  When I asked what the charge was for she could only tell me because she was in the refund and disputes dept. that I purchased something online (which I didn't).  She only asked for my first and last name, phone number and email address.  When I asked for if I would receive a confirmation email she said she could give me her name and to note the date of the call for the requested refund.  These people are very evasive and shady, I am still going to call my credit union in the morning but I wanted to give people a phone number to call where they could at least speak to a live person even though they wouldn't give much information about the charge.  She canceled the account (which I never opened) and said the refund would take 10-15 business days.  I also asked if I would receive any more charges and she assured me there would be no more.  We will see.
