I received a message from this company stating I was in the 5 digits of debt. It came in on my cell phone with an 800 number (name 441-5054) with a txt messege stating for $10.00 month I would be protected.

I have plan on reporting this to both the US Dept of Commerce since their H/Q is in AZ (potential federal fraud). Also to a few folks I know in the FTC. As a Quality Assurance proffesional and Baldrige examiner at the national level, I do not plan to lete this go.

I have an obligation to Us consumers to act as advocate.

Just got a call from this number; I never get 888 calls so I googled the number and found this site while it was ringing.  Glad I didn't answer!

Been getting calls for the people who must've had our phone number before us.  The caller ID says:  "Thames OK Comme" .

I called them back and they have all kinds of information on me. They are saying I owe $3200 for a computer that I financed in 2002. Problem is, I have never financed a computer in my life. There is nothing on my credit report that reflects this either. I think this is a scam, they were hoping I would make a payment over the phone or something. Besides, why would anybody wait 9 years before ever trying to collect on a debt?

They keep calling even tho I pressed 3 to let them know the person they are trying to contact doesnt live here and I dont know the person. An automated message says sorry for the inconvience good by. IRRITATING!!!!!!!

These people call, and call and call -- when my child told them that they person they were looking for was not there, did not live there and did not know them -- they threatened my child and told them to "put that person on the phone now or...." child did not stay on the line to hear the rest.

These guys keep calling and calling every single day leaving nasty messages.
THey are collecting on student loans for Dept. of Ed.... When i finally spoke to them they kept telling me to pay something I couldnt afford. They wanted me to open a bank account and do all sorts of stuff that I WASNT WILLING TO DO.... I kept saying NO but they kept callling my work and calling my bosses.... Kept telling me that I was gonna get garnished...
I finally got fed up...

they will call repeatedly like the other posts say, even on Sundays --- the last time they did this, they did it over and over for 3 or 4 weeks, seven days a week. never a message on the answering machine. never a human. once on Sunday, I got someone on the phone and asked him if he was on the same planet and in the same country because here in Arizona it is Sunday; he said he was in Baltimore MD and it was Sunday there too but it's his job....I said, how many times do we have to tell you the person is not here, never been here, not in the 25 years we have been here. His response was Well, sir, I will pass it on and maybe you won't get called anymore......well it's been two weeks since that call.  You guessed it, the calls started again this morning! we didn't answer the phone; they left no message.!!! Just nasty people.

they do not understand the individual state law on collections of open accounts (credit cards) or the statue of limitations.

under state and federal law they have only 3 years after that it's out the window. DO NOT admit to owing the debt if they call because the collection process could start all over again.
 this is all for a debt that is 15 years old and a man that has been dead 7 years now , they wont quit !

They called me this morning.  I don't answer calls from 800 or 888 number or numbers I don't recognize.  They told me it was an urgent personal matter..BS!!!!...They're collectors looking for someone that's stupid enough to fall for their crap.  Don't do it!!! They're scum suckers.  If they continue to harass you, contact your local AG office.  If they're not licensed to do business in your state, turn them in.  Turn them in also to the state they're domiciled in.  Put a stop to their actions/calls.

THESE PEOPLE SUCK!!!!  , I WENT AND HAD A MEETING AT THE CHILD SUPPORT OFFICE, TO RE-CONFIGURE MY PAYMENT PLAN, AND THE LADY TELLS ME WE WILL START, WITH YOUR NEW PAYMENTS BEGINNING SOON(MY EX-WIFE AGREED WE BOTH SIGN) THEN THE BIT** TELLS ME "BY THE WAY I HAVE TO REPORT YOUR BACK PAY TO ALL 3 CREDIT AGENCIES,AND BY THE WAY THEY WILL ALSO BE INFORMED OF YOUR ADDRESS AND YOUR
"PHONENUMBER!!" , NOW I GOT THESE PRICKS CALLING EVERT OTHER DAY!!!!!!

they keep calling a business and have the wrong number. the person they are looking for has never been employed here. they ask if I'd pay the debt for them lol. I pissed them off now they call daily. turned them into the state corporation committe but it has done no good.
 my next call is to an attorney.

BUT, if they can get you to own up to or admit to ever having a debt then the statue of limitations is out the window. DO NO ACKNOWLEDGE THE DEBT IN ANY WAY ! don't even give them you name when they call

Caller didn't say who they were called after 9pm.  Caller ID showed Thames OK commercial.

They called me today... left a voice message saying they were calling about a debt.  We have no debt!  I called them, left on hold and then was hung up on.  Tried calling back and left another message and haven't heard back from them.  I'll probably get another recorded call from them tomorrow.

These people called my child's cell phone four times in the last month.  I had answered the phone before but last night it really made me mad.  They were looking for some unknown person.  I told them in no uncertain terms to quit calling her that she hadn't even graduated and hadn't taken out any loans.  The girl was so mean and nasty saying that they would probably call me again within the next few days because it took that long to remove the number.  I said you will not call her again or I will get in contact with the authorities.  She said something rude and hung up on me.  I went to the website and called the contact number.  Just keep overriding their questions of who you wanted to talk to and what their extension is.  I finally got a live person and she said the number had been removed.  What a crock.  Someone gave them our number randomly and now we suffer.

Contact your child's cell provider.  They can probably block the calls.  Or put the pest in the child's contact list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will keep the phone from ringing.

just recieved a phone call from them asking for a JAMES 1000 THOMPSON never heard of anyone by that name and I refuse to call back...

I talked to several people at this number and told them that the person they are looking for does not live here and to take my name out of there database but they keep calling everyday at night between 8 and 9 pm and sometimes twice in one day. Anyone who works as a debt collector is stupid as most people who did not pay the debt in the first place didn't have the money then and they don't have the money now. Besides it is easy to hang up the phone and forget about it!

These people have been harassing me since the beginning of May, 27 times to be exact. The next time they call I'll be telling them how I've been keeping track of there harassment and from that point on any more calls and they will be receiving a court order. I'm not even the person they're looking for!!!!
