The say they are ATT sending you to another long distance carrier. Their parent company at the same address has already been fined by the fcc for slamming and scamming small businesses

Call today claiming that they bought a block of numbers from ATT and they are losing market share fast.  When they told us the number of lines we had, they responded, when asked where they got that info from, they hung up.    Scamming.  Comes in from the number of 605-540-4967 Comm Serv

Telplex CLAIM be part of AT&T, NO, had Clarisa call, told her before I renew our AT&T biz line that I would call AT&T to confirm that Telplex is part of AT& T, THEY ARE NOT.  SCAM

Telplex called (with the # of lines in our business and the telephone numbers/fax number) offering a reduction
in our rates.  Said they were not competing against AT&T but rather working with AT&T against cable companies and others capturing small business opportunities.  She gave me their number to call if I had any questions 888-479-2770 and "transferred" my call to someone who was going to confirm my information (business name, my name, DOB, etc.  Told her I was uncomfortable with the call and was going to research her company.  She said goodbye and hung up.

This number is currently listed as a contact number on Telplex's web site. This company has used 725-251-5591 to call the office multiple times this year despite numerous requests to stop.

According to their site, the lease lines from various carriers -- suggesting that they may be service resellers.

Telplex is now using 725-204-8731 as a telemarketing number.
