I too received the same call...it was exactly to the letter as Preacher described.  Looks like the are doing the same routine this year 2010.  We were given an appointment but we're not attending.  The caller also said, they would send me a confirmation email... to no surprise, we did not receive one.  It does not feel right.  A WARNING TO ALL WHO READ THIS!!  Do not be fooled by any posting saying they are legit and have received the awards as promised.   Beware...it is easy for the scammers to post such messages here as well.

This company is still out there, and they sent me a postcard for a free cruise 7nights eight days.  They want us to go to 901 31st street and sit through the 90 minute lecture, blah blah blah.

Thank you so much to everyone for posting about this company, I really considered going down to receive the trip.

I just received the same call... winner of one of 4 prizes; Lincoln Navigator, trip to Cancun, $2500 cash or 32' flat screen tv.  I live in Seattle and they want me to fly to Washington DC this weekend to claim my prize.  They say I entered in the drawing 6-8 months ago when I was out shopping in DC.  Possible, I guess, since I was there over Thanksgiving visiting family.

I just dunno.  I shouldn't go, right?  Its not worth the trip, right?

I'm such a gullible person.  It's awful to be toyed with like this.  I want to believe them, but...

I received call stating that I have been on of the selected individuals to have a chance to win 1 of 4 prizes.  All I have to do is come to K and 31st st to claim the prize.  I asked how many winners and the gentelmen Brice stated 5 Navigators, and several 25,000 prize winners.  All you have to do is bring ID and credit card. My income had to be 80K and my wife would need to accompany me.  Then next day a woman name Princess called with the same sales pitch.  Not thinking I schedule an appointment for 5/15/10 @ 2pm.  I could use a car, money, vacation, or whatever they said they would give away, but I yesterday I was thinking...why do I need to bring my wife, why didnt I get any information in the mail, and why did they call me three times with the same speech.  Too good to be true and I will not waste my time or gas on a Saturday.

Sunshine Promotions scammers are back in business Virginia. I live in Arlington and got calls saying they were going to give my wife and me 2 free round trip tickets to either Orlando, Miami, or Las Vegas with 2 free nights hotel. All we had to do is attend a 90 minute sales presentation to pick up our vouchers and pay sales tax when we use the vouchers to buy the tickets.  Thank goodness, I researched this company and found out about its scams. DC filed against them in 2010 for this same scam. You have to make a non-refundable deposit of $75 or $100 for the vouchers and when you try to use them, Sunshine tells you that you didn't meet some rule, there are blackouts, etc. etc. Long story short - Huge scam. They entered into a settlement with DC requiring restitution for their fraud and a payment of $90,000 and promises not to do it again. Here they are again. After the first offer, my wife and I received another one from another company--we recognized the same woman in the recording that tried the first scam on us.  I hope they get some jail time soon at a good rate.

If you paid this by credit card, you can most likely get all of your money back.  We too fell for this at one point a couple years ago.  I did my research after the fact, made a list of all the complaints and BBB report, and submitted it all to my Bank of America credit card.  They gave us all of our money back after repeated attempts to resolve a refund from the company.  Give it a try, please.  Credit cards protect us in some ways and this complaint we made got us every penny of our money back!

I received a voicemail December 16, 2014 stating my name was on an entry form to win a free car. Instead I was a runner up, so I won a free tablet (android, camera, etc) and a $100 giftcard. I was advised to call Chris Kuba at 888.304.4264 ext 456 as soon as possible since there is a time restraint on claiming the prizes. SMH, knew it was a scammer.
