Got a call from "Jeffrey" leaving that number as liason for PA unions seeking criminal case referrals. It didn't sound right since the unions here are plenty familiar with lawyers.  I Googled the number and saw all these posts.  How shameless these guys are.  Thanks for the heads up!

Yep, scam. "Jeffrey Allen" this time, claiming to be Union Liaison for the State of CO.  Called from 702-476-2669 but left 888-498-5381 x724 as his callback number.  He gave the whole bit about getting us  business through unions and military; when I pointed out that union labor is weak in Colorado, he mentioned the military presence.  We're an immigration law firm, so I pressed on, asking why military members would ever have immigration issues.  He buckled from the pressure :)

Got a call from the same number but the person was Rebecca Loving.  Turned out to be a scam.  Same approach of being a union liason.  Its a shame what people in this country are stooping to.  Even our Dr's and Lawyers are becoming the worst of the worst.

My call came from Lewis Hall at 702-347-8201, representing www.uniontoday.org. The callback number he left was 888-498-5381, x716. The pitch actually sounded pretty good at first, until he told me he was referred to me by a union member currently using my services (LIE). Then he put his "manager" on, and the phone connection was so garbled I could barely understand him. Images of Boiler Room started flashing through my head. They told me there were 120,000 union members in my county (in TEXAS! Hah!) and that they all received bi-weekly "email blasts" from the site. I called three union reps in town and none had ever heard of the website. Definitely stay away!

I just received a call from a Jeffery Allen stating he was a liaison for California union workers. The company I work for is tax-related, so his message was regarding work to assist union workers with their income tax. Since I manage the information that comes in/through the office, I naturally Google anything that appears to sound fishy. Finding this site confirmed my instincts and am happy to add this experience to the string.

This site has saved me valuable time in discerning my office's incoming calls.

Jeffrey Allen called, claiming to be "Union Liaison for the State of Maryland."  Sonds like a scam.

Well, I bit and was scammed. I'm a psychologist with my own website and the offer was made by a "Sandy Kuhlman". I got in touch with her today after the promised updated content was never delivered. She informed me that she does not work for them anymore. Her cell phone number is 702 503-4300. Why don't others call her anyway and complain. You can use my name. Has anyone called the Better Business Bureau yet?

looks like they are having trouble getting cpas to agree to take on their referrals.  i ditto the comments of thanks for posting.

Someone named Ted Rice (calling from 1-888-498-5381 x 728) said he was calling from Union Today to discuss how he can send military/veterans over to the office.  The same Ted Rice called yesterday and left a message to call him back to discuss how he can send over union members.  The aggressive calling and inconsistent messages screams SCAM.  Don't call this number back!

I got the same message from Sam Kirby "with the State of Colorado" looking for CPA to take on new clients for union employees.  Glad I googled before returning his stupid phone call.  Thank you all for sharing.

Retrieved a message from my vm from a Russel Maze on November 16, 2011. Stated he was the union liason for the State of California. Stated that he needed to find a quality life coach to direct rank and union members to. He mistakenly began to leave a return # starting with area code 619. He corrected himself and then left the number 888-498-5381 xt725.Thanks to this platform I did not bother inquire what it was about.

Same as everyone else.  Got a voicemail from Jeffrey Allen looking for a Colorado CPA to do taxes for union member.  Slimebucket!

I got a call from Consuelo Gonzalez tellin me I got a job from them and that she is from a organization of military units, they wanted my information and they would call back and she left this number  and another 702-534-0903 ext. 704

Our call was from Louis Hall, "union liason with the State of Texas", looking for a CPA to refer clients to.888-498-5381  xt 716. "Union Liason"? Uh huh.......

California union represenative do not use 800 numbers. They have you call them directly 916 aea code

oOur office received a call on Friday, December 9, 2011 from "Jeffrey Allan". Supoposedly he was looking for a CPA firm to refer union members, government workers and military personnel to for tax preparation services. I thought that the message sounded like a scam. I googled the number and found this web site, So consider this my contribution to further protecting others from these low life scum. The telephone number that he left for the return call was 888-498-5381 x-724.

Obviously do not waste your tile returning the call to this loser.

Well, I'll add another one, message left from Sam Kirby Union City with this number and extension 709.  Didn't recognize the name so decided to google the number before returning the call, this is where I ended up.  Thanks for the info.
