- Dana| 35 repliesI got a call from this company saying I owed $550.00 from a payday loan. I got a PO Box address from the call center that answers (what real law firm has a call center) and contacted secretary of state in Florida which is where they said they were and there is NO information on this company. This is without a doubt a scam and nobody should give them any information whatsoever! I called a lawyers office who sent me an email about payday loan scams. Its really scary all the information they can get to make you think they are a real company

Hi there, do you know who you talked to at this company I'm gett ing a call from a mrs. St James - Heidi replies to reggie| 31 repliesI keep getting a call from Mrs. St James. She tells me the payday loan company I owe money to is Kingston Marketing never heard of them. I googled the name and all I get is about a produce company. She told they where going to send me some papers that says I need to appear in court. I don't know what to do.
- Michael BensonI recieved a call while I was in the doctors office this morning from this number and my son answered the phone and the man claimed to be an attorney and called my son a lier telling him that he was I. My son also informed them that this number has been mine since October, and he was called a lier about that also. This was all over a call I recieved from a nother number telling me to call it back, so I did because when they called me they were rude and hungup after the voice message.
- julia c.i received a phone call yesterday at my job from a st. james with the number 954-369-4381, but i was at lunch at didn't get a chance to speak with anyone. Once i got home a had a message on the phone from the same person stating that i had a bad check that had crossed state lines and they wanted to talk to me about it. That sent up a red flag with me because i haven't wrote a check in months and when i did it was for my rent (the only time i write checks). When i got to work the next day i called the number mentioned above and no one answered and the voicemail that picked up had a very short muffled one word message. I also receive a fax from the Jackson & Roth firm (i guess where this St. James person works) asking me to verify my employment with the number 1-888-502-1170 but once again no one answered the phone and i called 5 times then the voicemail that picks up says you have reached... operator. I'm very hesitant to send them any information because i have not physically spoken with a live person from this number and i don't want to be in any legal trouble. Has anyone else had any issues like this

I received several calls from Jackson & Roth firm and ignored it thinking nothing was going to happen; but then 3 weeks ago i was severed at my job with a court date i am very nervous and have been trying to call the company to see if any way possible i can get them to let me make some type of arrangements has this ever happened to anyone else please tell me what do i do? - Ebony replies to Heidi| 17 repliesI also got a call from a female from a law firm stating that I owe Kingston marketing LLC $4000 and if I wanted to settle the debt I needed to pay them $2700. I later called back and got a guy that said I owed Kingston Marketing LLC $400???? It was really confusing because I have taken out payday loans (years ago), but I'm an upstanding citizen so I paid them back. The # was (844) 414-4866. The female was very rude, and refused to give me the information for the company that was seeking legal action against me. This shook me up a lil, but it's truly a scam. Be ware
- Adrian Myles replies to EbonyI just got a very similar phone call, but I have never had a pay day loan
- MARIA replies to momma C| 3 repliesYes I did too! They said I owed from a payday loan back in 2009 for $400 and they'll settle with $900 today. They had the last 4 digits of my ss and bank acct #! They were rude! I'm getting sick of all these calls! I've never had a payday loan.
- Mad replies to Ebony| 2 repliesI just got the same call they said that I owed 700. But can pay 400. And would not give me any information but had my ss number and told me that they are going to serve me paper's to go to court and would not tell me anything
- Same| 1 replySame situation. Had a bankruptcy discharged, they said it didn't matter and I had to pay anyway. When I asked for the original lender said I had to go to court to find out who that was. I couldn't get a claim amount or a phone number or address for Kingston Marketing. Mrs. Foxworth 615-369-8027 x3201 (not real names)

- CWG40 replies to MARIAChange your bank accounts numbers, quicktime!
- CWG40ID themselves as "Civil Arbitrators". No idea where they are located. Almost certainly a scam. "Arbitrator" and "Aribtration" used in cold-calls is often scammer double talk for debt collector. I suspect they are in Florida.

- Kevyn yang| 1 replyI got a call from Korvac...stating that they are part of kingston marketing. They tell me that I owe them 1590. If I don't pay up. Cops is going to detain me and I can be charge with Fraud and up to 2 years imprisonment. Before that I got a voice message from my county court house stating that the judge is going to make a choice at 3pm eastern time. Either I call the number which is 224-255-2509 to settle this matter or I can go to the court house and show them two forms of ID and turn myself in. The thing is I file for bankcrypty last June. From my understanding of the laws you can't get arrested for just not paying back a loan. I have student loan that will over 1590 and has went to collection. Nothing has happened. Cause I finally have enough money to pay for them. The funny thing is that when I call back at the number from my court house it was from a fax number which from my understanding you can't call out from a fax machine. It seems weird. So I called up a lawyer that deals which this matter. She call them up, request a proof that i took the loan, and also ask for the address when they are. She refuse to give that info out. Any company that is legitmate will give you that information.
