- nikki| 1 replyCoastal Mediators called stating that a tort was placed against me for intent to defraud for not paying back an online payday loan from Kingston Marketing LLC. The first number they called from was 855-739-8862 and then from 317-296-8165. They stated that my account was frozen and that they had a signed affidavit from my bank. They also had the last 4 numbers of my social, my bank account, my email address, a previous physical address and a previous employer.
When I started asking questions the rep got real disrespectful with me. He couldn't give me the date I took out this imaginary loan or when it was deposited into my account. I would think that would be basic information. And mediators are supposed to remain neutral. They are fraudulent debt collectors. I filed a police report. Hopefully they can track that indianapolis number- Caller: Coastal Mediations

- LISA PETREE replies to Dana| 1 replybut how can you make them stop, now they are calling me at work and that's messing with my lively hood!
- Tamianth replies to LISA PETREEYour boss needs to file complaints also if he told them not to call you! If he hasn't, he does need to. After that, hang up the phone on them. There is some information for this on page 2 & 3. Specifically, CWG40, Yoda and Big A's posts. Copy it out and give a copy of this to your boss also. It appears to be a offshore extortion scam operation. Those operations are about as nasty as can be, a call blocker would help here.
Neither phone, fax, email, or text are valid proof of a debt owed. Here are some articles your boss can read also. Its not your fault if they continue to call once having told them not to!

https://www.westernunion.com/us/en/fraudaware ... and-answer.html - pee replies to lynnI just got the same thing tonight, calling my local pd tomorrow, calling them back.
- pee replies to MinnieThey have called me the past week, finally got a hold of them they will settle, and asked for $50 tonight. Said I don't have $50. She asked for my card, which I DID NOT give, said she cannot stop proceedings. "Please don't give me you credit card number if you don't feel comfortable". I called back an answering machine came on and said "MAP Processing Solutions" I left a message want there address so I can send a check (NOT).. She told me I was being suid from Kingston Marketing LLC. Asked for number, which I called # is disconnected. Lets put these ...... behind bars and sue them for harassment, fraud, etc.
- michelle replies to GateKeeperThis is great to know! They have called me and I asked them to send me an email with verification and they did, But I know its fake I never took a payday loan out and they would tell me what the name of my bank it was deposited in.
- T.C.I received a call from a company called VDS Solutions. They are supposed to be an arbitrtion company trying to collect a debt from 2008 or later. The payday loan company was Kingston Marketing LLC. They called me from a number in my current home state but the number to call back was an 844 number. During the time I supposedly got the loan I was living elsewhere. I also spoke with a Mrs Jones and a Mrs. Hunter. Its a scam! Please don't pay these people!

- CWG40 replies to Janice thomas"Coastal" scam.. This is a well-known debt scamming group. So far as I can determine "Kingston Marketing" is a zombie creditor they use to try to extort money from people who might or might not have had a payday loan in the past. They also use "Greenwood Holdings" as well.
No idea where they are located. Call from a variety of numbers for several years now. Ignore and block any calls received from this “Coastal” group. Sometimes uses the CID of “Coastal Litigation” or Coastal Pre-litigations.
Report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.) As is endless phone harassment.
Also contact your local attorney general - CWG40 replies to Michelle"Kingston Marketing" again. Zombie creditor. This "Coastal" is supposed to be collecting for them. Ignore and block the calls. See my previous post.
- CWG40 replies to AngelaYes it is a total scam. From a group that calls itself "Coastal". Debt scamming operation. This "Kingston Marketing" doesn't exist. They are basically trying to scare money out of you. Being in ordinary civil debt is NOT a crime and you cannot be arrested for it.
Report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.) The same goes for endless telephone harassment
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them. Tell 'em no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking). the only thing they understand. - CWG40 replies to nikkiThe term "mediation" or "Mediations" is often used by debt scammers. It's just double-talk for debt collector. Coastal mediations is a total scamming operation and "Kingston Marketing" doesn't exist so far as I know. Phantom creditor.
- Mandy| 1 replyMy husband keeps getting calls from Kingston LLC Marketing claiming that we owe them $590 from a loan that they claim my husband took out for $500 in October, 2012. They had my husband's personal information and old bank account number. We never received the money. My husband doesn't recall applying for a loan or signing any agreement. The company also claims that my husband signed some paper saying that the loan couldn't bankrupt them. We haven't got any mail from them either and they claim that they have been trying to contact us all this time. That isn't true we haven't been getting any calls until about 2 to 3 weeks ago. They also threaten to take my husband to court.
