I had numerous calls from TAC WARRANT DIVISION,stephanie mayweather was the last person i spoke with...saying i had check fraud and blah blah...funny thing is...i haven't had a checking account in over ten years.... the number calling me is 18885026556.

Two women keep calling me from here threating to send me to jail and to get a warrant issued their names are christina jones and trudy wilson.trudy is very rude with a nasty attitude and is the one always issuing threats but don't want to produce or show anything to prove the debt is valid.I said this was a scam because every bill collector will show you paperwork why you owe them and how much

I forget to put the telephone numbers they keep calling from on previous posting, (888) 502-5665 and (213) 377-5713 and they keep calling me at work trying to get me to hurry up and settle this so called debt with a payment today with only a credit or debit card and each day I say I am notpaying until I get paperwork proving the debt , I am told my file will just go on the bottom of the pile until tomorrow. Basically pressuring me everyday to call and make a payment-NOT!!

How do I know if this comany is really a debt collector there number is 1-877-263-7923  can someone help me find out..

That may be true as long as they purchased the debt, but they are in no way to threaten with a law suit or should they be saying they are coming out to serve you.  If you look into your county court you will find there most likely nothing there for you.  Be careful as these people double the amount of the original loan.  And they scare people into making payments they can not afford.. the number they have keeps changing... so ask yourself why that is?   MAYBE because they have to keep running because they are scamming people.
