No it does not mean that you owe money just because they call you. People change their phone numbers, and get a signed a number that has been recycled. Get a clue! These people are rude, and it does not matter if you have a payment plan with them, they will keep calling and trying to get more. There is nothing they can do legally as long as you are meeting your obligations. File the complaint with American Express.

Guess what... we owe AMX nothing!  And have called them ourselves to confirm.  The people at this number and several other numbers they have ask for your CC #.  DO NOT GIVE it to them.

Company call almost daily.  We are not who they are looking for.  They call for my husband who has no AMX card.  We've called the # on my card and we are paid in full every month.  We have reported these calls to the FCC

Received a call looking for a sibling of mine.  Very rude man, aka, Mr Godby (sp?)

IF YOUR STUPID PUNK ASS WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO EDUCATE YOUR WORTHLESS SELVES, YOU'D KNOW THAT COLLECTION AGENCIES EMPLOY VERY UNDERHANDED TACTICS TO COLLECT MONEY - FROM ANYONE THEY CAN, EVEN IF THE PERSON being HARRASSED ISN'T THE ACTUAL PERSON IN ARREARS. Called my job asking for a person I knew but did not work there. Did give a reference number said it was about an american express account.

I received a call from a local area code 515-418-9339. When I look this number up in here it has a variety of different callers. I would guess they are just sending a false caller ID with a local exchange so I might pick up.  The message left on my voice mail stated my name as asked whoever lives here to call and verify if the number they have is correct. They then gave a call back number of 888-524-4075.  When calling the number they give, I get a recording with no identifying information. Just thank you for calling, if you know your parties extension please dial it now if not press 2. If you press 2, you get silence. If I call the number on the caller ID I get a message stating the caller you are trying to reach is not excepting calls at this time.

They called me and I answered and they hung up on me.  I returned the call and got a lady who asked who I was. I gave her my name and she put me on hold then hung up on me.  I called them back five more times to figure out who they are.  Noone would answer the phone. So I am posting this because this is a shady company that doesnt care about collecting any information.they are looking for gulliable people and trying to exploit them.
