This probably is a 3rd party company working on behalf of Humana. I blocked the number because they call early in the morning and then up to 2 times more throughout the day. They usually do not leave a message and I have asked Humana to contact these people and tell them to stop calling me. That usually works for several months and then the calls start again. If I need to speak to Humana, I CALL THEM. I pay my monthly bill by deduction from my bank account, so I am never late. If Humana needs to contact me for an emergency, they use other phone numbers instead of this one.

I did not answer since it was toll free #. They left no message; if they are legit they should leave a message & @ least say who they are & why they are calling. They have called many times; since they leave no message I do not follow up on it.

Supposedly it's Humana, but that can be spoofed

My Caller ID said "Telemarketer" from one of my Robocaller apps.
Left a VM from Humana to discuss the pharmacy benefits that you could potentially save time and money....
I blocked them as I have a contact number and get notices in the mail.

My husband just got a call from this number. He has Humana, but uses a local rep and email for contact. This could be a real number spoofed or it is Humana trying to get customers to sign up for extra stuff you don't need or want. We've had that before. If it were important, they would leave a message.

So here it is, 20 min later and they called my husband again. This time they left a vm claiming to be Humana and that they possibly have a better option for him to save time and money. Don't have a clue what this is about.

I've gotten a number of calls from this supposedly Humana number, but when I check the numbers at the Humana website, they are all 800 numbers.  I suspect this to be some type of scam, as, up until now, I've only been contacted by Humana (with whom I have prescription insurance) by e-mail all this time.  I blocked the number.

I listened to the message they left.  It is Humana I think, because yesterday I also got an identical prescription drug service ad from them by snail mail.     Usually I would block them, but they are my insurance carrier.  Just have to live with this one I suppose.  High pressure sales.  Hey Humana, I know you have to pay those telemarketers with my premiums.  Why do you think I would believe you can save me money by paying telemarketeers?  Makes me think you are squeezing the market because you are losing, and why would an insurance company lose?  CEO need a bigger yacht?

 Just got a phone call from this number with Humana, Inc. in the Caller ID. But since I saw no reason for them to be calling (although I do have Humana & had just picked up a prescription), I also saw no reason to answer--if they're legit, they'll leave a message.    Well, as usual with these robo calls, it sounded as through the first part of the message had been cut off, and all I heard was to call their number, with no idea as to why I should.
 Unh-unh, not without checking 800Notes first. And so, when I saw there were at least 27 pages concerning the number, I knew right then it was a number that had probably been through the scam mill many times. I went straight for the end postings, and am not calling back. If I get harassed by a lot more phone calls from them, I'll block them.
   In the meantime, thanks everyone for posting! It is such a help to come to this site and see the experiences others have had.

My gracious!  27 pages of calls since 2011, plus I have verbally told Humana reps specifically that I would never review  my prescription meds with some unknown, unverified telephone spammer!  Yes, Humana is my prescription med insurance...but shame on Humana for not listening to their customers!  Call today, no message,

whether it was Humana or not they do not need to be harrassing people.   The message first off had a long buzz on the line,  and sounded like a Robo Call.   Vaguely mentioning some service   and the number was 888-538-3518  this is 2020.   Came to one of the home numbers.  Caller IDs can be spoofed.  numbers can be spoofed.  Call came up Humana Inc got a call three days ago from another number Humana Pharmacy.  Then there is some Humana number allegedly that comes regarding a Nurse or home Doctor Visit.

27 Pages,  some of the toll free numbers that come up on caller ID I found were Humana also.  Loud buzzing noise on the line which does happen on sometimes.  But then the usual robocall.   My Dad has Humana.   some of the numbers get blocked by the robocall blocker.  Especially the one about having a home doctor or nurse visit.  My Dad is not bed ridden.  Both my parents have their own doctors thru the Cleveland Clinic.   Then again some of these Humana numbers are spoofed by Scammers like all kinds of different legit companies.

888-538-3518  Left a message for me to call them @ 888-538-3518. No explanation for call, who they were or what company name.  Will not return call. Checked phone number and it says that it's still in use from various locations/states. Caller beware!!

9/25/20 at 1:49 pm, tele rang 5x before robo gave up, obviously doesn't pay any attention to "no solicitation calls" or to my many protests directly to Humana; no message; knew I recognized the number and here I am Again!

Lordy, Lordy,   How does Humana spell NOOOOOOOOO?  They know how to say no available info yet, wait til October 15.  Like so many organizations, business and tech departments.......

I received a call recently from this number and found it identified as a Humana #.  Oddly today I received a bogus call from a caller that claims it is from Humana.  Weird.  Is this definitely a Humana #?
