Received a call today.Screened and did not answer.These slimeballs are calling anyone with the same name as mine hoping to find the individual they are looking for.It's not me but I guess they use process of elimination.

I have recieved over 400 calls from these jerks, looking for my daughter, who passed away years ago.  I have a wonderful service from an internet phone company that puts a block on their number, and they always get a busy signal, that has to piss them off. Try it...

Is that service Phone Power??  I heard they offer that service, and need to shut these people off.....permenently..

these people just called my work number but the number that came out on the caller id was 9562050101...but they left the number 8885699635 to call back...i guess they're trying to get me to answer the phone by using a number in my area code???? LOSERS!!!

These people just called my parent's home telling my dad that I had called looking for information???? I haven't lived with my parent's in over 10 years... no clue who these people are..... I've called the number he levft a few times and have left messages but, the guy never calls back..... boo-hoo.... :( :( :(

Just called me looking for my ex that I divorced in 2005.  I'm sure he owes somebody money.

call them, don't block them.  in there face or they will stick with you as the one they want

Called my cell number, had my full name and said they had "a couple of options and opportunities for you that I know you're not aware of". Sorry, but I'm still not in a position to pay the debts my ex racked up. File suit like Citibank did, or just keep talking to the answering machine.

They keep calling me looking for the person who used to have my phone number!

They left a voicemail on my machine looking for the person who used to have my number.  I called them back and told them it was the wrong number and they took my number off of their list.

For all of you people who keep blocking them and they keep calling you, why don't you answer the phone and tell them they have the wrong number?  It takes 30 seconds and stops the calls.

If they don't have the wrong number and you are the one that owes money, consider talking to them about how to pay it back.  It's time to grwo up and be an adult.  If you racked up the debt, you need to at least try and pay it off.  (And no I don't work for a collection agency.  I'm just bothered by all of the posts on this site by people who clearly have no intention of taking responsibility for their own actions.)

well that's a nice attitude you have there - they keep calling me AFTER I told them twice that the person they are after was NEVER associated with our phone number and does not live here. You tell me - they are NOT verifying information before they harrass people, they just punch numbers without any regard for anyone's privacy.
While I agree that one should take responsibility for one's debts and work it out, I do not agree with company policy that does the least amount of research possible before they try to hunt people down.
