Good idea but after talking to them several times they still keep calling after saying they will take me off the list, they are looking for 2 of my sisters and ex not me, I live by myself and have no debts so if anyone knows how to stop the calls I'm all ears.

They called and mailed me about a debt to my bank that I do not owe. I called the original creditor (my bank) and verified I was in good standing and had no outstanding debts. I then called P & B's phone number and got a "Hello?". No identification of the business I was calling. I asked who I was speaking with. He answered simply "Dave".  I told them they were contacting me in error. "Dave" then wanted to know what company I was trying to reach (how many names to they go by at that same number?). I told him P & B capital. I explained that I'd contacted my bank and they knew of no such debt and advised me not to give them personal information as it was likely a scam.  "Dave" wanted me to prove I was in good standing with my bank rather than prove the source of this supposed debt.  I have filed a complaint with the Buffalo, NY Better Business Bureau, the FTC and my state attorney general's office.  I cannot stress enough how important it is to RECORD ALL OF YOUR TELEPHONE CALLS WITH THESE PEOPLE.  A woman won ten million all because she records her calls with these scam artists.

And how does this block work with your internet service? I do not have a landline but I have internet service but that would having nothing to do with my phone which is an Iphone. Any ideas?

My guess is that P&B Capital Group is a scam. The debt they claimed I owed was PAID IN FULL over 10 years ago.

I see that others have filed suit against them. Maybe it's time I did likewise.

Received a call from an organization that called itself P&B Capital Group  debt resolution services.
Was told that the call was on behalf of the HSBC card corp. & that I owed a past due debt of 4k
bucks. No such debt exists. The call was a phishing expedition carried out by someone in the business of
identity theft.

They keep calling me looking for the person who used to have my phone number!

How do I block them

I get the same calls but when I try to talk with them they can't give me any information even though when they just leave messages they are threatening. Lets all call them with weird names and file numbers and waste their time? Juvenile? Yes it is and I would be more than happy to address the situation with them if they would speak with me or I actually owed money. So, come on, lets call them over and over and over. Lets all call with the name Betty but with different last names.

I agree, however, they do not always listen. If any other company felt I owed money they would send me a non-threatening letter with a list of charges and I would pay it. I have forgotten to pay a Dr bill before and they just called me and kindly explained the situation. The people at this phone number that keep calling are very cryptic and aggressive, they do not have their act together, transfer me to various people and do not seem to know what I am talking about, probably because they all use fake names so I can never speak to the person that left the weird threatening phone message.
Anyone that wants to conduct legitimate business with me is always welcome to call. These people need to be watched.

Caller called my cell phone.  It's illegal to solicite to a cell phone in my state.  I don't have any past due bills & never had.  I have excellent credit & I'm not responsible for any other person or their bills as that goes.  Caller didn't leave message.  I'm reporting illegal call.

Got a message today from "Larry"at ext 117.  Said by law he has to inform me that he is a debt collector, even gave me a case number. I do not have any outstanding debts.  I see by the other postings this is a scam.  Will not answer the phone number .

States name is Mike Glover and it is so personal on my business line could not leave a message. Why is there no consumer protection in the US?  Hit w identity theft now everyone thinks they can harrass my staff and me..

I want to know how one gets on their list to call, threaten. and harass. And I want to know how to get off their list or to get them to stop!!! I'm old, retired, and don't need this! I was widowed at a young age with 3 children. I worked hard. Life cost more than I could handle. I eventually joined CCS in order to pay off all of my debts in a timely fashion. And I did pay them all off! I've never been financially up side down again. I never answer restricted numbers or numbers I do not recognize. When I received the 1st voice mail, I knew I had no past due bills so I checked the Internet for references connected with their Co. or number. I found out they are a Scam! So I've been ignoring their calls ever since. But they keep calling & threatening!!! Help!

These guys are scum!  I told them to validate the debt and send me something via the Mail and they refused!  I asked them to stop calling me for something I don't owe!  Very rude!

Wish I had known they were scam artist. I thought they were legitimate.  After paying them for several months. Never received any documentation in mail showing my payments were being made to my original creditor. Instead have recently been called by a Mr. FeeAuto representing P and B Capitol Group. I asked what my balance was and was more then it was 2 years ago. He said he would send me an agreement letter and an Email. Haven't recieved nothing by mail. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. And gave them the phone numbers he has called from. They don't pull up any so called business.  So they Have gotten their lsst penny from me.

I WISH THESE PEOPLE , SO CALLED MR. FEE AUTO. HE NEVER SENDS ANY PROOF OF THE ALEDGED BILL. ASKED WHY NOT. BECAUSE WE CAN'T. ENOUGH FOR ME. A BIG SCAM.

I want these people to stop calling me

No, telling them they have the wrong number doesn't work. Anyway, these bad debts keep getting sold to new agencies.  We have had calls for the last 7 years (since we got this phone number) for the same person who used to have the number. The same agencies and new agencies from the US and overseas have called for her. Telling them she hasn't had the number in over seven years does no good. We are at the point that changing our number seems futile as we probably will just get calls for the person that used to have the new number. We have had a 30 number capacity call block feature on our phone for several years (Panasonic KX-TGA641 cordless). I wish it had a 300 numbers capacity as I need to delete a number to add a number. Wish it had wild cards to block certain exchanges. The ideal would be to be able to send certain numbers or exchanges to a special voice mail message for junk callers. But these devices seem to be incomplete or taken off the market to cater to those who spend the money, namely the people who initiate these calls.
