This # called phone stating that it was regarding a legal matter.  I do not have anything legal pending on me and I would like for them to stop harassing me. They would call from this # and other numbers as well, and when you call the #'s all you get is a recording that the line as been disconnected.

This # continually calls and threatens legal action if I dont call back in 48 hours. I've reported them to our state agency that handles these cases and they have had several complaints about this so called MS and Associates company. There is no information about this company, only info can be found is thru the phone # they give. When calling the # no one answers just music playing as if your on hold. I've blocked their calls on my phone but they call from different #'s each time.

About 6 months ago, I received calls from this number asking to speak to my brother regarding legal matters.  It's a complete scam.  The last few days, they have started up again and it's getting annoying now.  If anyone knows how to deal with this MS Associates, please let me know.  Thanks.

I just received a call from MS & Associates regarding a legal matter in connection to a PayDay Loan from over 2 years ago.  I let him go through his whole spiel and then requested information on the company.  MS & Associates,  South Federal Highway, Boca Raton FL is what I was given.  He was trying to push me into making some type of settlement on the account for $810, otherwise a process server would be sent to my house and a court date issued and the fees could go as high as $2,246.  Imagine his surprise when I revealed to him that I had already been contacted by someone regarding this debt, paid it and had a court release date from it.  )That one was probably some bs too, but I was scared so I paid it.)  He hung up on me!  HaHa, now there's a switch!

Unfortunately for him, I've been on this roller coaster for at least a year or better now with different people calling me about different debts.  Most of which I have not recollection of but I paid a few of them because they threatened to come to my job and also started calling all of my family members.   I think because I paid, I've now become some easy target!  But no more......

There is no way in hell i'm paying another dime to this crooks...I say, issue the papers and let the chips fall where they may!!!

Got a random call from this number.

My mother recieved a call from this number asking for me. She informed them that I would never put her a source for a payday loan, which is true, I have done a few and never would have put her on there. He told her that she was lying and stated that he wasn't trying to collect a debt. When I called, I was transferred to 4 different people and in the end he hung up on. I informed he that I have gone thru this 6 different times and have never been served and I would like for them to serve me. He verified my address but not the city state and zip and then hung up. He acted like I was a waste of his time. I'll inform if I get served but I highly doubt that I will!

Just got a call from a John Dean at this number and he called me before 8 AM which is illegal isnt it?

This number calls everyday at the same time.. I do not answer and they do not leave any messages.

Most likely a scam.
Spoke to a "representative" that wouldn't give me as much as a second to talk.  It was important I got a chance because he was trying to collect on a debt that another company is also trying to collect on- this was of no interest to him as he explained he owned the debt and I had to pay him.  When I asked for validation of the debt, he started spinning to the point where he proclaimed he wasn't a debt collector, yet couldn't tell me what he was.  I got angered by my lack of ability to have a discussion and my anger was met with the representative repeating back to me all of my private information followed by suggestive threats of the "I know where you live... you have no idea what kind of person I am" nature- always a sure sign that I'm dealing with a con artist and not a professional.  MS & Associates (or whatever happens to be the name of the company) has no online presence- another sign that it's very likely not a real company.  The typical "hang up" by the representative was just more proof of what I believed to be the case- real debt collectors don't hang up on people when asked questions.

I received a call from a scammer 1-888-584-1374. This person called looking for my mother. My husband told them that she did not live with us. He said he was on the way to our house with a subpoena and when my husband asked for more information he said wait a second and that he had to pull over. The guy "Joe" stated that my mom had put us down as a reference and used our address. After he gave us the call back number and a reference# he stated he had stopped at the road next to ours. My husband said come on over with the subpoena but she is not here. He said if she settled with him then they would not have to go to court which would cost three times the money. He never stopped by.
My mother lives in another state. The funny thing is "Joe" stated the same things about serving her a subpoena and how he was right around the corner from her house and would serve her if she did not call. Funny how he can be in the midwest and on the east coast all at the same time. Before calling my mom I googled the number to confirm that this is a scam. DON't give these people any money! I hope Joe calls me back so I can give him a piece of my mind.

a lady name Amanda called my mother and stated that Vincent owed for a payday loan and he will be served with court papers and will go to jail if he doesn't pay I call them and told them to quit calling my mother harassing her or I will have them for harrassement.

Calls from an "Austin Cooper - a process server in Palmas County" with this "company" for a person who does not live here, and never has, with threats to show up at at my door with legal documents. Crowd noises of others in the background. Isn't there any real, gainful employment in Florida?

this jerk called my mom threatening that i had to call ashley at ms and associates immediately . i haven't had a payday loan in years and the ones i did take out in the end i found out were all illegal online ones that is didn't even have to pay back.  bottomfeeders!  They called me a few years ago around this time too on a similar issue.  i made the mistake of paying then but not again!   I will be reporting this phone number and shame on them for scaring my mom who thought i was in serious trouble.

Just got a call from Austin Cooper. Stating something about legal papers. If I don't call him back within the week I will be subpoenaed and need a valid ID. I should call claim office888-584-1374.
