I am so glad that Fi has the ability to block calls at the service level.  Organizations like this can never reach me by phone.  Since I have an occupation that requires me to move frequently, I've set up residence in a low statute of limitations state and maintain my permanent domicile there.  Don't receive mail anywhere else.  Happy to have them waste their time.

Total Scam.

They have left multiple messages saying it is in regards to my name and social… the name they are saying is my maiden name from 25 years ago. I will not return the phone call sounds like a scam and I keep a close eye on my credit report so if I owe any one kind of debt it would be on my Credit report

Funny because I know the debt that they are referring to, but that collection has been long paid. So I am quite certain this is a scam.

Leaving messages almost everyday. Same as above messages: regarding name (which they don't say) and social. Please call Coastal Capital Mediations Group.   They are a scam.  The are trying to collect on something from over 22 years ago which was covered under bankruptcy due to ex.   They tried to say the debt becomes valid again after 10 years. Um no.

Keep getting call directly into my voicemail without direct calls that ring so I can't block the number actually calling. this is obviously scam call. I do not owe any debts

They have called and left messages 3 to 4 times a week, for the last 6 months, stating  in regards to you name and social and to call costal capital mediations group at 888 585 5282.  No.  I have no collections on my credit report.  The last credit card I had was closed on 2009/2010 so even if there was a balance it is past statue of limitations and can't be sued for it either.  Yes I have reported them to FTC and Better Business Bureau.  Next step is finding a lawyer to sue for harrassment

1, there's no such thing as a "statue" of limitations.
2, what do you expect a worthless, toothless organization like the BBB to do?
3, if you're going to find a lawyer to sue them, better make sure you have their legal name and business address.

Since the FTC does not accept debt collection reports then I doubt that you reported to them. Unless of course you lied about the reason for the call.

Today I received the same message stating having my name and social. To me this is a waste of time. Trying to collect a debt, why not mail me the information in writing.

14 year old debt. They just don't seem legit enough. I wanted a letter. Lady said she could email one. Took forever I asked and she said he had to type it out. Either way I still haven't received an email to print out.

A legitimate debt collector knows an email is not a valid method of debt validation. Only documents sent via the US mail.

If you go to the FTC website and tell them that you are reporting a debt collection call you will find that they redirect you to the CFPB website because that agency has jurisdiction over debt collectors.  Try actually doing some thorough research.

I just received a phone call from 7862047895 regarding an old debt they said is from a cash advance  cash net from  2017 and that they need to collect $1251 dollars or I’m going to have to go to court and pay all this fees the lady that I talk to is Mrs Chan and gave a direct number to call her tomorrow when I have the funds to pay $251 so they can stop the sue and to appear in court I’m scare but also don’t want to fall into a scam can some one help
