Number belongs to Coastal Capital Mediation Group, a debt recovery business. They purchase uncollected debt for pennies on the dollar from other collection agencies and creditors, hoping to use their high pressure tactics to collect unpaid debt. They, like other such companies, keep calling my number (always using a local phone number for caller ID), trying to reach a former roommate from 20 years ago. Last I heard, he moved out of the US over 15 years ago and is now deceased. Somehow, his debt keeps getting resold to different collectors. I average about1 call every 2 to 3 months from a collector. They don't seem to understand what "deceased" means.
