- AI have requested them to change my address 4 times and they won't. they send my bill to the other address, won't allow me to access online and call 6 times a day. If you can transfer your balance from PC Finacial to another insititution DO IT. These people DO NOT follow rules, laws or any request of any time formal or not. I am not behind on payments and they are harassing me for an unknown reason. They won't tell me why unless I make a payment of $300. When I refuse they refuse access to my account.....This is against the law. I'm so done with PC.

This is accounts receivable for president's choice financial. If you receive a call from this number, it means that you are either past due by a single payment or that you are over your limit. They will attempt to contact up to three times a day and up to fifteen times per week between the hours of 8 am and 8:55 pm.
"I keep on being hung up on"
They use an internet based phone service and sometimes they get throttled, meaning that lines are dropped. Typical hold times are about 2-4 minutes, once you are assigned an agent, you are at most second in line to be served.
"I think this is a scam"
President's Choice management believes that people will not pick up if they see their name on the call display therefore the caller is not disclosed. To protect information, account information needs to be verified on every call. Most of the time it is your name as it appears on your account (same as on the mail you receive) address on file (including city and postal), and your date of birth. If you are unable to provide address, then agents will also accept last 8 digits of card (NEVER GIVE YOUR FULL CARD NUMBER), last payment amount, credit limit, or date of last payment. No account information can be disclosed by the agent until the account is fully verified (not even the fact that an account is in arrears or overlimit)
If you do not believe this is president's choice, please call the number on the back of your mastercard, and request Accounts Receivable to be transferred back to the relevant department.
Because of the way that the phone system is set up, the agent has no way of knowing whether it is an inbound or an outbound call (other than a vague sense of what area codes are being worked) as calls are just dropped on them. Be prepared to give your phone number, even if you are called. This also give the agent a little bit of time to access your account and review notes. Transfers from other departments and VOIP numbers are not displayed.
"I already paid my bill"
The banking process in Canada is complicated, payments are not processed until after 5pm eastern that evening. Any payment made after 5pm will be processed after 5pm the next day. From there, the funds are then transferred and then have to be reviewed and assigned to the appropriate accounts. This process takes 2-3 business days. A payment made after 5PM on Friday would not even leave your bank until after 5PM on Monday (Or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) and may not be seen on file until the following Wednesday. Additionally, it is not unheard of that customers accidentally paid down the wrong cards or made an underpayment. It is always worthwhile to learn what the situation is.
"I got collectors and my credit is ruined."
Not quite, only after being two payments past due would you have to speak with a licensed collector, and even then it is for consumer protection as licenses make sure that the agents have an intimate understanding of the law. Credit reporting is a constant process, reports are physically submitted weekly. Current accounts benefit, accounts one month behind are not impacted negatively or positively, only when you are two payments behind you would go in as an R2 (revolving loan, two payments past due).
Only accounts receivable can stop the contacting efforts, if you discuss a payment arrangement with customer service, the attempts to contact will continue. If speaking with customer service, please request a transfer to accounts receivable.
If you are greater than one month past due, please do not call this number as you would need to speak with a licensed debt collector. If you are current or wish to check the status of a payment, please call the customer service line instead as agents can only access accounts in arrears.- Caller: President's Choice

- CSThis number keeps calling my phone- up to 2-3 times a day. I don't even have a credit card with PC!!!
- Biz owner888-598-0713 called our business line today but it was a robocall. Message does not give: reason for the call, caller's name or caller's company. Just said Call the number. Why? We blocked the line for robocalls, but it seems we need to talk to our local phone company again so discuss other options besides unplugging our business phone. I will report the phone number to the FCC and to the Better Business Bureau but not sure how much this will help.
- Selina replies to CharlesThat helps me ☺️
- RobDon't answer this number. They tried calling 4x today; no msg left, and I purposely don't answer as I know it's a scam.

- Rebecca WaldnerUpon googling the phone number I realize it is PC debt collecting department based off comments and other links. I am 2 months late, fair & I will pay you when I got the money. A roof over my head is more important, I’m not worried about my credit score right now. I’ll take what ever hits I have to... I NEVER answer random phone # and that’s why they will never reach me & even if there was caller ID I wouldn’t answer. They call me multiple times a day & daily but once they call too much I just block the number. They have multiple numbers. Better luck next time.
No voice mail is ever left from either numbers called from.- Caller: PC Mastercard Debt Collectors

- Tygerkat replies to LaurieYour advice is 14 years too late. Messages posted here don't travel back in time.
And why should anyone pay a lawyer to send a letter they can easily send for just the cost of a certified letter themselves? - McGMultiple Calls a day no message left , if it’s truly pc Mastercard they could leave message . I don’t answer 1-800 numbers to many scams associated with these numbers
- Lana replies to KattThey have called me way over three times in seven days. It's like harassment at this point. When I do answer and say hello a few times, no one responds and then they hang up. They have called twice today so far. Few times yesterday, day before. What ministry do I contact??
- LanaThey call every day 2 to 5 times, making it alot for a week. Which is illegal. When I answer they don't answer back and hang up shortly after. They don't leave messages either.
