"Northern Leasing Systems" owns this number.

I'm having the same problem. They are calling me every 20 mins! But there is no way to talk to a person. I do not have credit card terminal equipment either. I really want this to stop because it wakes up my children everytime they take a nap. The number they are telling me to call them at is 888-607-3607. But I only get a busy signal.

I have been repeatedly called and threatened for late payment on a contract they said I made with them.  This is obviously I.D theft fraud. Started lead_in message to the effect that I was monitoring all incoming calls due to ID fraud, and only their machine now calls.

They called today leaving 3 pre-recored messages.  It sounded like phishing to me, so I looked up their info.  I'd like to report them, but I don't know where to effectively do so.  I hope this helps.

This guy keeps calling our office, regarding a credit card machine. Says he's from Leads Finance Group.. I don't know what to say.  He's polite but he sure calls a lot.

This company is in court defending a 100 million class action lawsuit against them for there business practices need i say more

Keeping getting calls from this number and I am sick of it.

I am getting calls repeatedly from this company.   When I call them back, their phone system asks for my lease number (I have no leases in effect) or my ssn.

I recieved a call telling me to call another number for some random debt that I am supposedly in, but did not purchase any of the "equipment" that they claim I owe them money for... Tried reporting it to the Do Not Call Registry, might keep them from calling, but unsure..

I cannot figure out how to make them stop calling.  I do not have any credit card leasing equipment nor do I have any debt for that matter so it is clearly an error.  I can't call back and times when I thought to try and answer have been met by the same pre-recorded message.  They have ramped up the frequency lately including calls at 8am on Saturday.  Nightmare!!!

Continue to get calls from this number, at least once a day. Has been going on for at least a month. I figure it was someone trying to scam credit info from me and have not attempted to call them back. Interesting that they say they are "My Credit Card Terminal Leasing Co." cuz lord knows I've been unsatisifed with my umpteen other credit card leases...NOT. I don't use any terminals nor do I have an open lease on ANYTHING in my possession. They must be corrupt, will continue to try to find a way to get back at them legally. Any ideas on places to report this kind of activity that is obviously fishing for data from non-existent customers... but why?

I reported them to the BBB and found out they have nearly a thousand cases against them.  I even talked to my attorney and they quit calling for a short period of time but now theya re calling again. She said theres nothing she can do. I blocked the first 4 numbers from them at AT&T now they have more.

I just looked up their website address.  There are several people's contact numbers and emails there.  I just sent an email to the customer service, sales and anyone else I thought could do something asking that they cease and desist!   Perhaps you will have luck with that too.

Thanks Trey, I seem to have the same success. I call them back and tell them I'm not the person they are looking for, so they don't call for a month or so. But got a call this morning at 8:05am on a Sunday. That alone ain't right! Not even my Mom calls me that early on a weekend unless someone died. Northern Leasing has thousands of class-action lawsuits going, some have won, but these people still practice business as usual...corrupt! I may call and mention my own class-action lawsuit to see if that keeps them from calling longer than a month from now.

They claim I rented a credit card terminal. I received a contract with part of my name as the owner a of some ficticious company of which I am not part of. Someone signed a contract falsely using my date of birth as a social security number at my real home address. I filed a police report and still they phone me for an unpaid lease bill. They say I am late one payment, yet they informed me someone paid for the last 4-6 months, and it is not me. I can't get them to stop calling from different collection agencies in Vancouver and New York. A pain... wonders if it will ever stop.  I figured it is identity theft and I phones Trans Union and Equifax to report and a allert was put on my credit file specifying to call me if anyone asks for a credit check for me. They even tryed getting me some new credit cards and I caught it on time. A pain I say...

Remember, the number appears on your caller ID will not always show you the right number. A legitimate credit card company will never call you and ask to verify your information. Always call the number on the back of your card before you do anything else. This number is one of many numbers from Northern Leasing Systems in NY. They are experts in credit card terminal scams as well as harassing debt collection practices. Never let them know about any of your personal/business information, and never answer to this number or you will be getting relentless phone calls. If someone called you from out of your area, always check the number on the internet before you answer. You have been warned. Just google 'Northern Leasing Scam' and see what you got...

my husbands account bank account was locked down by these people northern leasing with a fake signature, he ended up paying a 1,087.00 now they say we both had a lease machine and want me to pay3,473.58 they dont call us just send notices they are going to guarness my bank account in ten days if i dont respond to them, neither my husband nor I had a contract with them, but yet they claim our leases for the same company are two mths appart
