this number is from a collection agency from mastercard 888-662 0490 person claiming to be catherine ext 214

The first person from this number name was Mitchell I sent them a letter of validation and fax them a letter to cease all phone call this was 10/24/11. The calls stop and then today 11/14/2011 a lady name Ms.Keenan call trying to threating me. I told her about the letter I sent and the cease call and she act like she didn't no what I was talking about and hung up I call back to ask for there address and they wouldn't give it to me.

Leave me alone ...I have health issues. I have had enough...No more...Threats, hang ups..Telling me these are Fedral...I have none....Stop, Stop stop....

I have lost a brother this year, my mom is ill...leave me alone..Please..I have filed bankruptcy ... and am still....being bothered...harassed....

I don't know how they got my number because I changed back to my maiden name. They said they are an attorney's office and there was a complaint filed against him. I had assumed this was a collection agency. I'm going to try calling them again and tell them uh, you have no business with me! Not very professional when I call and the phone keeps ringing. Not only that, the message she left did not give me times to call either? Also, her voice was so soft that even putting her on speaker was hard to hear. I had to play it over and over again to get the whole message! Word to the wise when it comes to collections, they can threaten all they want. It's scare tactics to get you to pay. They either scare you or pretend to be your friend to get you to pay. Consumers have rights. It's good to do research to protect yourself.

You need to let your BK attorney know they are harassing you. What they are doing is illegal.

asked questions about credit report that had nothing to do with the so called debt they were after. PHISHING SCAM. Pretends to not be a collection agency by using control words like......FEDERAL and FUNDS dont fall for it. If you area victim of this, Submit your post and together we can create one hell of a lawsuit.

This number is calling me 4-5 times a day.  They call my house, my work and my husband's phone.  They threaten serving papers to me at my home or work.  They do not provide a company name and any information and also will not provide an address.  This is harrassment and needs to be stopped.

I just had a message from a lady named Ms. Warner, telling me they sent certified documents to my home address. She even left a slight case number on my voice mail. telling me that i needed to call 1-888-662-0490 and that she was from Almar & Associates. I have gone on the BBB website, and the only affiliation i could find for this firm was out of florida and they are connected with Century 21?

Your arrogance is lost on me.  I have a credit score over 800 with zero debt and I have received the same calls.  It is a scam.

I think the name of the company is Lamar and Assoc.  They do pretend to be lawyers, but Mr. Martin advised me that he was just calling about documents to be served at my place of business.  When I told him that would be interesting since I have undergone 2 major surgeries in the last 4 months and am not back to work yet, he proceeded to tell me that I have committed fraud because I have a paypal account and a walmart card and I declared bankruptcy in 2002.  Neither one of those accounts were opened before 2009, but according to him, that is fraud. He told me he was going before a judge and I could go to jail, have my wages garnished or pay him.  He admitted to me that the credit card company involved wrote this off years ago when I had my bankruptcy so what is his involvement? These people buy the debt and then get paid what they can collect.  When I told him I am struggling to pay for my medications let alone anything else, he told me to borrow the money.  I have already used all my retirement plans to pay for the surgery.  I don't think his harrassement is going to produce money where there isn't any.  This shouldn't be legal.

If you had a BK years ago, then this moronic zombie debt collector is chasing dollars that he isn't entitled to collect.   The true tip off that he is a moron is in the fact that he stated that you could go to jail.   Having PayPal accounts and other items after a BK isn't even relevant - if it were illegal to have those accounts for ANY reason - they would NOT have been extended to you by the companies that are offering them.

And offering to have you served "at your place of business" is NOTHING but a scare tactic to help make you pay him out of panic that your co-workers might 'find out' you're being served.

This company just called and refused to give my wife any information except it was a serious legal matter.  Before I called them back we did some research - thankfully!  I have a very good credit score and no bad debt so I'm not even calling them back.  They better not start harassing me or my family!  They scared the crap out of my wife.

I got threatening calls from Mr. Martin,, and several calls from Ms. Warner, unfortunately I was stupid enough that they got 350 dollars from me..... but luckily NO more cause I figured them out..... Mr. Martin threatened that I would go have a warrant issued for my arrest and go to federal prison,, well he told my stepmom this, also

This friggin sucks, I got a call for awhile from Ms. Warner and I just kept ignoring it,, until Mr. Martin called my parents house on Valentine's Day and threatened me through my stepmom saying that if they didn't hear from me within 2 days that a warrant would be issued for my arrest and I can and will go to federal prison..... Unfortunately it scared the crap enough out of me and my parents and I called him back,,,, having a really bad feeling about it,, my boyfriend listened through speaker also but at first we didn't think anything of it so I gave him a gift card number and they got $350.00 from me :( I never got anything in the mail from them, and before I sent them anymore money,,,, I pretty much had them figured out,,,, I don't know how and where they get your "debt" information from because the debt that I have was pretty accurate that he was talking about except that he stated it was like 500 dollars more than what it really is......... He yelled and screamed,,,, harrased me on my parents phone and on my job. Wish there was a way to get the money back but I know there's no way, I contacted the attorney general's office and filed a complaint. They should be in prison for a lifetime for this....... They were suppose to collect a payment yesterday so another lady called and said they're computers were down that I needed to wire the money to them, thats when i told her that I wasn't cause I didn't think they were legit and havent heard back since.... I just really WISH I would've checked further into it like I am today!!!

I am disabled & have my father whom is a WW2 Veteran Navy HERO, whom has P.T.S.S & a brain injury living with me for the last 7 yrs.

With no caregiver today, I could not get to the phone quick enough so the answering machine starts with this Ms.W. leaving me this message of a law suit & legal action pending, then asking for me?
It sounded So Important!!  I was was really worried that some how my name was involved in a legal matter in California. We live in Hawaii.
I picked up the line.....Oh my Word, what came next is just MORE then I can Handle!!! by myself.
It has been about 2 hours since those Wicked, Mean & Evil Fools have called.
I was Verbally Attacked & Threaten to have the police come to my home to arrest me! by Ariana Perez whom said she was the manager.
I was in complete fear & CRYING hard, I told her I have done nothing wrong!
All i could think of WHO is going to take Care of my 84 yr.old father if I get arrested within 24 hrs.?

Do not pay or accept any calls from this company.. they are scam artists
and refuse to follow the law. they give fake names. they lie about everything
when they call you record the call and give it to your Atty. they are a station
office and these are there tactics. report them.. ASAP demand by your rights '
they have to give you a verification of the debt. or a bill of sale.
and everything they say is just a threat. if they could sue you they wouldn't call you.. and they sit in a office there not serving anything. all there names
