Call from 844371203 left 8886644576 for callback to CREDITONE BANK. BLOCED SCAM NUMBER.

I got a voicemail from a different number asking me to call this one back. They said they were with Credit One and I had just called them yesterday over an issue on my account. The woman on the phone asked for my full card number and full social security number. I asked why they needed that since I was only asked my name when I called last time. She got short with me and repeated that she needed my full card and social and promised they would be kept confidential. I hung up then and there.

Voicemail came up “Unknown” with fake British accent female saying to return a call to the 4576 #.
Asked for my account #. I hung up. SCAM!!!!!!!!

SCAM...SCAM...SCAM...NOT CREDIT ONE. Always call the number on the back of the card and not one left on Voice Mail.

The same thing just happened to my mom and she didn’t know so she gave her ssn. Then they said she had 2 accounts and that’s when we knew something was wrong because she has never had 2 accounts. We are now on the phone with the actual credit one bank trying to figure this out

They also go by the name Cameron so please be alert

British accent number called and left message with a non bank one number. I didn’t call them because you all rocked with info!

The automated message they left on my vm "cut off" who was calling and just gave the phone number to call back.

Credit One Phishing Scam is alive and well. Also posted on Facebook for friends to beware of the numbers.

They called me and left their number. When I returned their call they said they were from Credit One Bank. The reason I returned their call was because I very recently closed an account with them so I thought that it may have something to do with that. The guy on the phone I called asked me for my name then my ss # and then he asked for my DOB but I refused to give him the dob but I offered him the option for my address but he didn't want it. So I told him to disregard the call and with that I hung up.

I believe this is a SCAM. There are 3 adults in my household who have a Credit One Bank credit card. So when I received a call from 844-371-1203 identified from caller ID as "Credit One Bank," I picked up the phone. The call had a recording of a woman with an English accent who identified herself as being from Credit One Bank. The message simply told me to call Credit One Bank at 888-664-4576. Then the recording stopped. Since the caller never mentioned my name nor the name of anyone in my household, I figured that if I called the 888-664-4576 number, I would have to state my Credit One Bank credit card number in order to be "looked up" in their system. I am a senior citizen who receives scam alerts from AARP. AARP does not recommend anyone providing sensitive information over the phone to someone where the call  was not initiated by you. Therefore, instead of calling the number, I Googled "888-664-4576" and discovered this wonderful website you are now reading. When you think about it, if you are concerned about your Credit One Bank account, you can call directly to their Customer Service number. Moreover, if a credit card company suspects someone is fraudulently trying to use your credit card, it will send you an alert by text message or by an E-mail if the matter does not require immediate attention. I hope my experience with this caller has been helpful to you.

Voicemail woman’s voice saying she was calling from Insure Life about my recent request for a quote and had my file open. I did not request such a quote. That might be a valid company but this had to be a scam. I did not call.

Dopey me just gave them my cc number as they caught me offguard while I was tending an online chat.  I assumed it was about my billing.  I should have realized they were not the real deal.  Had to call Credit One and cancel the card for a replacement.

I received silent call from one number 844-371-1203 stating they were Credit One and they left message to call 888-664-4576.  Suspected it might be scam and after checking this site the suspicion is correct.  Neither number belongs to Credit One

Called me and said to call back this number (888-664-4576). I thought this was strange because I had just paid my bill several days ago. It's a scam! They wanted my social security number and I hung up.

Robocall - Please stop!

This number is a scam - they are not from Credit One Bank.  Do not give them any information - actually block the number and do not call them back.  I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission Fraud department as well as the do not call registry.

Same as the other people... got a call from #1-844-371-1203 saying to call back @1-888-664-4576 . That was from Credit Bank One. Also a woman with a british accent.
Beware... When I called back same script. They can't pull up my info so they just ask for the social security #.
