- MarieI received a telephone message to call Banfield regarding my pet's plan. I contacted Banfield's official site and they did not have this number in their records.
- Caller: Banfield
- Surryhouse replies to Yeap ! That's what the bank told usI had to do the same thing, and file a claim with my bank, to stop payment on the wellness plain, and to get my money back from them after I cancelled the plain. After paying them for over 13 years, I had to put my beloved Buddy to sleep 3 months shy of the renewal date, and they wanted to continue my automated withdrawal
- Laure replies to Skip ANY of the wellness plansI have 3 little dogs that all have plans including teeth cleaning. My older dog is like a puppy since her teeth were cleaned. It was less expensive, my Vet's awesome and just like my own doctor I have to plan ahead for regular visits and they make room for emergencys. They don't guilt and pressure me for business. I'm not big on all the vaccinations so we do what's absolutely necessary like rabies. Maybe you should give them another chance. I love the savings and convenience!
Best to you! - Laure replies to FedUpBanfield' awesome they're not scammers.
- Laure replies to ericaOr for appointment reminders
- Jayne replies to LYN| 5 repliesYou signed a contract agreeing to you, you are obligated to pay. Don't sign things if you have no intention of honoring your word.
- MJG replies to JayneOf course you are 100% certain you are addressing & knowing a person by a first name almost SIX YEARS AFTER the initial post.????? PATHETIC & thanks for making yourself look like a SHILL!!!!
- BigA replies to JayneWell, I can see that you have never taken contract law. You see that contract is no longer enforceable for a couple of reasons. First the death of the dog, death discharges all parties in a contract. Further, it is impossible to fulfill the terms of the contact, i.e. the health of the dog, since the dog is now DEAD. Get it? Go crawl back under your rock.
- Tygerkat replies to Jayne| 2 repliesWhat does "You signed a contract agreeing to you" even mean?
- BigA replies to Tygerkat| 1 replyThat is legalese for "I really don't know (((( about the topic that I am posting about" :-}
- Tygerkat replies to BigAHa!
- MWhy are they afraid to leave a message? There is no caller ID, thus I don’t answer.
- Wrighton replies to E144Everything you say in your post is true, except for one thing. If the dog dies during the middle of the plan year, they will not allow you to cancel the plan. They make you pay for the plan as if the dog was still alive. You cannot cancel before the plan expires. That makes no sense. There is no way I am going to pay for insurance for a dead animal!
- sad pet owner replies to LYNI had this happen too. My cat died and when I called to cancel it they were like pay off the plan and it will cancel. My cat died and they still want my money. Real classy Banfield. Real classy. For any other reason I agree they deserve their money but when a pet dies it is the ultimate slap in the face that they still want you to pay for that. "Hey sorry your pet died but in order for you to remember this for some time please continue to make your payment for this pet". Idiots.

- PedoGaetzGot a call from this number, caller ID said Possible Spam and Animal Clinic. I answered and it was dead silence. Said hello a couple of times and nothing so I hung up. Seeing the previous posts, I'll give my local Banfield a call as I did get a new card recently and see if they can update the payment info.

- Susan| 1 replyI lost my baby on March 18th, 2022. The company billed me the next day. I called to cancel Mr. B's plan and I was informed that I couldn't! What are they thinking?! If a human decreases, you CAN CANCEL without being charged! In fact they just called but didn't leave a message.
- Caller: Animal Clinic
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to SusanThey won't let me see the contract without giving up a ton of personal information. Not a good sign.
