Its Rogers Tech Support - calling back to confirm a change I requested.

Guess what - the Telemarketing Exclusion Codes you put on your Rogers account don't matter.  Today, when I complained that Zedd Marketing called again (4th request to be removed) they said Rogers is running a 'new marketing campaign' so they are initiating the request.  When I raised it, the agent confirmed my Exclusion Codes were active and there are several complaints on file - but offered to add to the 'Super Exclusion Code List'.  This is one they general marketing campaigns from.  Tech Support called back to confirm - but advised it won't be active for 31 Business Days (so I might get more calls) AND if I upgrade my cell or change services it becomes inactive.  Something Rogers doesn't not tell customers.  So the regular Exclusion Codes mean NOTHING.  I've complained to the Do Not Call Registry and have written to my Federal MP.

Got a call today from this number - POTENTIAL FRAUD - saying my computer was sending out viruses, was skeptical, spoke to tech support, they agreed my connection was not doing this.  Rogers actually thought this might be fraud.  Sounds legit, Rogers audio clips/sounds and all - even offer to transfer you to rogers (maybe to listen in and spy?)

I don't even have a Rogers account anymore so I can't think of a reason for them to call me. I didn't answer it.

Rogers calling to tell me about "exciting changes" to my cable package. They've added some new HD channels.

This is Rogers calling. They called me to tell me about new channels added to one of my cable packages.

I didn't answer; they left voice message. Listening to it now, just advising they've added HD channels to one of my cable packages recently without any changes to monthly fees.

Got a call from 0-000-0000. Guy with heavy accent saying he was John Stevens calling from the federal government and our computer was hacked. He proceeded to give me this phone number for Rogers. Sounds like the scammers are hijacking this number.

Rogers saying after Dec 9th, 2013 that a digital adapter will be needed for any TV connected directly to the cable instead of through a digital cable box in order to receive all the channels. They will provide the adapter for free.

Missed a call from them today on my cellphone.  Called back on my landline and it was Rogers

this was rogers "courtesy call" to remind me that I have an apptmt scheduled for repairs.  (i actually forgot about the apptmt!).

I absolutely hate these people.  I do use their cable services but hate their marketing and customer service.  Here's the letter I'm going to send them next time they "call"

Effective the date above, your implied right of access has been removed.  What this means is that you are no longer permitted to
Call my residence without my express written permission for any reason except for billing notifications.
Litter my email inbox with email spam with the exception of billing notifications
Litter my mail box with fliers, pamphlets or other such nonsense with the exception of billing notifications.

Should you fail to comply in its entirety with this lawful decree, you will be fined 1000$ per infraction for each of agent and principal.

No fee changes now... but watch down  the road and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that your bill will jump.

Get these calls every week from Rogers offering to provide search for my business.  Rates are $500-$2,000 monthly!   Absolute ripoff and they are f##king nuts!   I already use Google and pay per click, not sure how much better than can be and if you research online, there are lots of unhappy customers.

WHOEVER  it  is  or  was ,  obviously  not  important  if  they  call and  hung  up......assuming  a  robo  call dialer  or  related  scam ???
