- Me replies to JRPlease stop this? Are you [***] or something? Do you think this website has anything to do with whoever is using this telephone number?
- J C| 1 replyFollow up call from Rogers after I called for tech support.
- Caller: Rogers
- Linda replies to J CThis number is not Rogers. It's a scam and it was strictly a coincidence that you had called Rogers for technical support.
- Jane| 1 replyI have been tracking numbers. this one appears every couple of months. Please be aware that ROGERS does NOT solicit business via telephone ever. If they call you about your service etc, your caller ID will say ROGERS. I have had it out with them about these calls, and received info back from them. They are also furious about this, but these scammers are hard to pinpoint. The best thing to do is start writing down numbers from your ID, and comparing them. If the people say they are calling from ROGERS, record the number and e mail Rogers about it. We are harassed by these people and it is not right - and my number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I get at least 5 calls per day that are unidentifiable. So unfair and invasive! Watch for 905 752-6543 and 647 752-6543 (changed the area code). Plus many calls that say "UNAVAILABLE" on your ID are Rogers scammers.
- Caller: 888 764 3771
- T NThe call showed on my cell phone as:
Rogers West Entrance
Main 8887643771
As soon as I picked up the call got disconnected. - JMLI talked with Rogers support. The 888-764-3771 number is an inbound phone number only. No call can be made out from that number. Therefore any call you and anybody receives from this number is phony. This is a scam. The scammers have the ability to override the Caller ID we receive, to try to fool the receiver that they are from Rogers, when in fact they are not. They will be phishing for personal information. Do not bother, simple hang up ASAP. Hope this helps.
- Caller: Fake Rogers Caller
- Linda replies to JaneThe DNC list is useless because the number is spoofed and could quite possibly originate from India or Pakistan. Just block the number.
- jsomeone claiming to be working for rogers and asked if I wanted a bundle package thing is I already am with rogers and have the highest upgrade.
I simply asked if they were with Roger wouldn't they know this already? she seemed surprised I was a rogers customer. I said you guys called me. should you know your customers phone numbers and info? seems like a scam and they called me on a holiday.- Caller: rogers (claimed)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Sick-o-RingsDO NOT ANSWER. It is a SPOOFED caller ID pretending to be Rogers. Do NOT EVER answer ***any*** calls from ***any*** numbers you do not recognize. If it is a legitimate caller, they will leave you a voice mail which you can chose to return if you want.
- Caller: ??
- Eric lavigneCalled twice, no responded on other end.
- MakaraDid not answer as no caller name displayed. These days with so much garbage and cons happening with unsolicited telephone calls, we as a group of organized neighbours will not answer any unrecognized number - more especially the creeps that don't have the guts to display their name
- Caller: garbage
- CWas really hard to understand, which would surprise me if it really was someone who worked for rogers.
- Caller: Uncertain
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Fed upUnfortunately the scammers have managed to call using Rogers legit phone number. They are offering home phone, internet and cable for varying amounts between $85 and $105 (changes every time they call). We have reported to Rogers that they are using their number somehow but I doubt Rogers can stop them.
- Caller: Rogers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Blue-BsodThere is nothing we can do about this particular scammer. We can block this number but for us, Rogers customers should they ever need to call us, they would not be able to. Rogers does not use cold call telemarketing and they know who we are when they call. This guy claimed he was from Rogers and believes we're a Bell customer. Told him, "Honey I left Bell more than 20 years ago and I have been a Roger's customer since then".
Pretending to be Roger's isn't smart because they are one of the top three being Rogers, Bell, and Telus or Shaw depending on which side of Canada you live on. Chances are when calling the potential client/stool pigeon they are already a customer of the top three. They're better off claiming to be one of the lessor providers and try to upsell us from using the top three.
That is as stupid as those Facebook posts which claim Mark Zuckerberg or some other big box brand name is so happy they're giving away $100-$500 to every person who shares or clicks on some link. Then we always have one of those friends who blindly clicks those links and happily shares their friend base with that link in hopes of getting that free $100-$500 gifts and not caring what the link actually does to those friends.
Ten out of ten times I can run a scrub tool on said links and find malware, Trojans, viruses and keyloggers 100% of the time.- Caller: Fake Rogers

- CTold me they were from Bell and wanted to offer me a deal on my service. Was disconnected when I asked for their representative ID. I asked to clarify if they were from Rogers or Bell as it sounded like a Rogers deal that had been offered door to door in our area but he said he was from Bell.
- Caller: Bell?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Blue-Bsod**Update** They called again even though their number is ALREADY on my call blocking service I have with Rogers which makes it pretty useless eh... The caller claimed the current promotional package they are practically giving away is $69.99, which is bull because when I check the website their current offer begins at $99.99.
- Caller: Fake Rogers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CMIt's Roger's. They keep calling even though I am not a Roger's customer, I have asked them to stop several times, and I am on the Do Not Call list.
- Caller: Roger's
