my number is private no one can get it and they did and I am pissed

I have received calls from this number. Called them back and finally spoke to someone. Stated they were sorry for the calls. Claimed it was about a past account. Never had an account with this bank and promise never to use them in the future for they are idiots. Asked to remove my number from their list. Now 2 months later and the calls have started again. I am sick of this.

BB&T recovery called my cell number, that I've only had for two weeks, its not even in my name.  Called them right back and it went straight to voice mail. This is the second time they called.

Do not and never have had an account with you, DO NOT CALL

they call every day its annoying.  The  only message they leave is this is not a sales call and to please call them back.

Have been getting calls non stop, I just got this number and I guess the person that had the number before me had this number.  I called and told them, they said they would remove the number. I hope they do., So tired of the calls. This is from BB&T Bank collections.

This is BB&T!!! I closed this account months ago. Yet I get at least 3-4 automatic calls leaving messages starting with, "this is not a sales call" ect. on my cell every day up until 9 pm at night. It extremely annoying!!!! Don't they know by now I DON'T won't to speak with them. I have a chosen a different bank with better service to suit my needs!!!!

This call is from Protection 1, the home security system company.  It was a legit call for me.

I'm deaf and these people at bb&t started calling me on my  video phone.  How they got that number I don't know.  Phone is for Deaf to use not the public. I've called them and get a recording no person.  They asked for my phone number,  they crazy you don't leave your number on a message machine when you don't know who they are.
Please stop calling me.

They claim to be BB&T. No legit business calls from a 1-888 number. Most likely more [***] trying to collect money on a scam. Hopefully we can nuke that [***] 3rd world country into dust soon and stop those cow worshiping [***] from harassing people.

Got call from this number. Would not tell me what it was about because the person they asked for no longer lives here. On do not call list. They do not seem to care

Same thing here - it overdrafted and I didn't know it so BB&T closed my account - fair enough but maybe call a person first.

They called me every single business day for an entire month.  I only found out about it because the number was blocked after the first one but my phone keeps a log of blocked voicemails and they are all dated.  They are looking for someone loosely related to me and should not have my number.  The messages are all the same, saying they were with BB&T and who they were calling for, and that I needed to call them back about my account.  I declined to return any of their calls.

They sent a letter in the mail saying I owe them money and they have a settlement offer of $74. Its 2020, I closed my account in 2008 because they bascially stole my money. I had a 947.46 check, I cashed 300 and deposited the rest, the next day, I went to the atm to get 20 out and it said insufficient funds. When I went to the bank branch, they said I had nothing in my account, even after showing them my deposit receipt. Till this day I have not received my money. I called this number (because it is listed on the letter) and they said leave a message. I didn't.

Got a letter and calls from this number. The letter stated that I owe $134.86! And if I wants to settlement 3 payments of $67.41 or 4 payments or 5 payments and all for the same amount of $67.41. The settlement amounts do not equal to the amount they say I owe. And to top it all on the letter it stated that if I take the settlement offer they were required to reported to the Internal Revenue Service as a forgiven debt in excess of $600. These people are crazy!! I closed my account 10years ago and I’m just getting a letter . I left them a message to call me back!!
