- KCP761 replies to hope it helpsI placed an order with GotBody.com in September 2009 - and everyone is correct. I got a $29.95 fraudulent charge in October from MyTrainer then a fraudulent $29.95 charge in November and December from HubHealthy. My bank is closing the account and refunding the bad charges.
Has anyone talked to GotBody.com? I just called, sat on hold forever, then got placed into voicemail. Seems very strange for 10 AM on a weekday. - Hope EnduresI just got a charge for $29.95, and called the company using this number 1-888-771-4533 which I got from this forum, (Thank you!). They did have some of my information, including a phone number for me that was my phone number over a year ago, but not since. They canceled the order, and promised a refund. The name on my bank statement was "Your Healthy Hub", but when the customer rep answered, he did not give any company name. His name, however, was Ephrim.
- Caller: Your Healthy Hub
- davecalled and canceled what I did authorize.Talked to chatis and got a confirmation # on 12-1-09. now Im being charge the next month by hub healthy. something has to be done now. Im calling call for action
- dave replies to JulezThe same exact thing has happened to me and I wrote call for action at kmbc channel 5 . This is definetly a scam and has to be stopped. I ordered nothing from them and got nothing from them and now they are using the name mytrainer and other names to get our money. I called and got a confimation 3 to canceled and still got a call. Now I will call and threaten them with a lawyer. It must stop now. Where is the attorney general.
- cathyI have not received a phone call either, but have had charges on my credit card. Last month way My Trainer, I assumed my husband had charged something. This month it is Healthy Hub. I have not tried to call them yet to find out how they got my information.
- wvbarbi| 1 replyI saw my bank statement was charged $29.95 today by 888-771-4533, and then I found this website. So I called them and told them that I'd never heard of their company. They told me that the Acai Berries I bought online had something in their terms and conditins stating that I was agreeing to a 21-day free trial of HubHealthy, and that after the 21 days, I would be charged 29.95.
I said, "Oh, come on! Do YOU ever read terms and conditions when you sign up for something online?"
He said "Since I've had this job, I sure do now!"
We both laughed, and I got it cancelled and my money back (supposedly...I'll write back here again if I don't!)- Caller: HubHealthy
- manda replies to ughThe same thing happened to me i got charged 39.95 and 2.97 for something i didnt even know about. I called them and she told me it was linked to something that i cancelled back in july. she said that it was in juction to the order i cancelled back in july but they had to be cancelled seperatly. i told her that i didnt even know about this and that i shouldnt have to pay for something i never even used. all i could get her to do is remibursh me for the payments they took out in dec. as i looked back at my statements i noticed they took out a payment in nov for 39.95 and the 2.97 since october. if it was really in juction and need to be cancelled seperatly why didnt i get charged in july and august?? why now? So even though i am gettins some of my money back im still out about 50 bucks becuase of this stupid scam. this is ridiculous, im gonna have to change my bank account becuase people dont have real jobs they have to scam people to get money.... GRRR
- jewcs replies to Julez| 11 repliesI saw this charge on my bank statement from Hub Healthy for $29.95. I have called to cancel it and I'm going to take it off my bank account. The customer service rep said she would send me an email to verify a refund for the 12/30 charge. There's no web site to check on, either.
- PamI ordered protein bars from gotbody.com. that must be where i am getting these charges on my account from. Thank yo Walter! Now I can tell the bank the source.
- JeffSame crap happened to me but it is 39.95... I was out of town for 2 weeks.
- lori replies to jenniferMy son has done several triathlons and activities through active.com. I have received charges of $29.95 on my account for months and just noticed!
I need to call my bank tomorrow! - jackie rushingI did not receive a call, but have a charge on my credit card.
- angel replies to jewcs| 1 replyI have had two charges of $29.95. So I went on line to learn about "healthy hub" or "My trainer" and all I got was other complaints about the scam. I feel I need to turn it into the Better business bureau. Thankfully other people have posted notices about the scam online. I even got the number 888-771-4533 from someone's posting. I believe the scammers must be connected with Active.com. I am a marathoner and triathlete. I hesitate to register for an event!! I am going to notify Active.com and cancel my debit card. I called the number and COMPLAINED, the customer rep said she would refund my $. We will see if it happens!
- Mark replies to jewcs| 8 repliesI just checked my bank records on line and found a charge for $29.95 to a Hub Healthy in NV on the 30th of Dec. I have no idea who this is nor have I ordered or received anything from such an entity. I will be on the phone first thing in the morning to see who authorized this charge and have it removed. The phone number listed for Hub Healthy is: 888-771-4533.
- mike replies to NewOrleansSaintsFanJust wondering, did you get your money back or did you cancel your card?I did the same thing.
- Read BEFORE you call!! replies to Mark| 7 repliesI did a print out of my cc statement today. Yes, I know, I should have done it sooner but I, too, had charges from MYTRAINER and HUBHEALTHY on my statement. AFter reading many of these posts, I called the number. I spoke with a Holly. She told me that the agreement was in an email sent to me from 'another company' they deal with. Then later she said that I 'agreed' to FitFactory (the name of the company) and the monthly charge before I even purchased whatever I purchased from the other company (and not suprisingly, she couldn't tell me what I purchased or what company it was from.) She said I must have ordered something online and didn't read the 'agreement' and didn't cancel it in time. (I did order Zone Bars from GotBody.com but that was probably a year ago). I told her that was ridiculous. I basically DID NOT back down and complained and argued until she refunded all 4 charges. At first, she kept saying she was going 'above and beyond' and would refund 2 months, but I just kept at it. I told her about reading scam info on the internet about her company, and I would continue on the line until this was resolved. I told her she could transfer me to her manager b/c I was not getting off the line. Eventually, she refunded all 4 months of charges. I wasn't irate, didn't curse, anything, just was VERY persistent!
I told her about all the info I had gotten from other people, that people were threatening to go to news stations, and that I would contact my lawyer. Immature, possibly, but I feel their company is in the wrong. For future reference, the company is Fit Factory. I had never heard of it before. She said that it was a company to 'help people get fit.'
In the end, she gave me a confirmation number, so if I'm not refunded, I'll let you know! - Jamie| 2 repliesWe ordered something from gotbody.com (which was a mistake to begin with) and we were signed up for two things that were $29.95/month. We called today, fought and fought and eventually they refunded it to us. We'll see if it really comes through.
- cathy replies to Read BEFORE you call!!| 1 replyI had four charges for $19.95, first from Fit Trainer, then from Hub Healthy. I had ordered a supplement on line and in the fine print there was information that by giving my credit card I was agreeing to join Fit Trainer. I called the number listed on my credit card statement, the rep was going to refund $19.95. When I told her I did not even know I had this service, and did not want it, she said she would refund an additional $19.95. I informed her there was a website dedicated to their company and the people they were taking money from. I told her I would contact the Attorney General's office. She asked how much I wanted refunded, I told her all of it. She stated she would "step outside the box" and give me a full refund. I also have a confirmation number. If it is not refunded, I will contact the Attorney General.
- WillI saw two charges on my bank statement from HUBHEALTHY for $29.95 each. I have called my VISA bank to cancel and get refunded.
I do not have any idea why HUBHEALTHY thinks they can do this.
There was no business contact from me to that company that I am aware of. - Patti replies to cathyI, also was charged 29.95 on my credit card account. I called the 888-771-4533 and spoke with Casey. He stated that I had been offered a free membership for 10 days and then was sent an e-mail telling me that they were going to charge me 29.95 a month. He also stated that IMUST HAVE OVERLOOKED THAT E-MAIL. I told him that I was on the website HUBHEALTHY and that it looked like alot of people were taking legal action against them and that I guess that I would have to join the list. He cancelled the charge and gave me a confirmation. e will have to see if he OVERLOOKS taking care of this matter.
