Great. I also have been getting called by this number randomly! I just bought a briedesmaid dress from Davids WTF??  This is ridiculous!  I thought they just needed your # to let you know when the dress you spent an arm & a leg for came in, not to freakin sell it!!!!!  ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!

Just call them up (at 888-822-0335) and ask to be on put their Do Not Call list. Apparently there is a box that we didn't check to opt out of receiving these calls when we gave Dave's Bridal our information.

They keep calling me too.  The only reason I gave David's my number was so I could pick up the disgustingly ugly bridesmaid dress I had to buy.  And since they were typing in my number and I didn't actually fill anything out myself there wasn't any way to "opt out of" them selling my number.  Seems a bit underhanded to me.

I registered at David's Bridal last weekend, and started getting calls Tuesday evening.  I didn't answer any of them but I was getting sick of them calling me on a daily basis.  I just called them back, and said "Yes, I'd like to be put on your do not call list, please." and the woman was like "all right... Is your name Rachel?" and then she said "All right, all set, I'll take care of that for you".  So hopefully she does take care of it. If they call me back again I'm gonna be pissed.  But yeah if you keep getting calls, just call them back and do the same thing i did.  she didn't try to stop me or try to get me to listen to her sales pitch or anything, it was a quick 35 second conversation.

I easily made it stop by returning the phone call and asking to be removed from the call list.  She did it immediately.

they keep calling along with 1-800-963-6025...only starting appearing after i had to buy a dress at davids bridal...this is extremely frustrating!!!

I was just reading through these messages and called the number back.  It was David's Bridal and they were wondering what my purchase was regarding.  Since I was just the bridesmaid, they said they didn't need anything else.  I recommend calling the number back and they will stop calling.

I too have been receiving calls from the 888-822-0335 number with no one on the other end. I am beginning to think that I should not have purchased a dress from David's Bridal.  Is there any way to stop it?

Yep - started getting these calls a few days ago.  I got my dress from David's Bridal, took my bridesmaids there, and just signed my fiance at MWTux.  You can bet I will be calling back to get my number off their call list!  I am glad I found this page because reverse 800 number lookups don't work for their number.  Thanks for being here!

My fiance has been recieving similar calls.  I called both Davids Bridal and Mens Warehouse.  The rep at Mens Warehouse actually cared, whereas the rep at Davids Bridal tried to blame it on my fiance for not reading the registration form better.  Interesting, being she never saw a form; they just asked her questions.  Call Davids Bridal and voice your irritation.  Maybe if enough people do this they will actually start caring.

i just got a call from this number a few moments ago and when i saw the number on the screen, i googled it and got here. just in time to quick skim the website to see who they were, picked up and hung up on THEM. :) i registered at david's bridal a few weeks back too and the last thing i need it them soliciting me or selling my number. screw that. i'll be adding them to my contacts so i can pick up and hang up on them from now on :) hee hee

Keep receiving phone calls from this number. Its from Davids Bridal. Call and don't leave message. Soooo upsetting!

Thank you for the details.  I got a few phone calls but never answered.  I am definitely not going to david's bridal for anymore visits to look at a dress!  I will buy my bridal gown elsewhere.

Was going to say the same thing. I am a bridesmaid for a wedding out of state and when I ordered my dress over the phone, they put me in as the bride. I called the number back and they took me off the list. (Not sure what to say to brides though!)

Just called the number back and it was a tux place associated with David's Bridal that got my info. when I registered.  They had a promotion and wanted to know if I was interested.  I simply explained that I am a student and can not deal with this now - and my wedding is not for another year.

This number called me last night and I googled it and found this site.  I called David's Bridal immediately and told them that I do not want these businesses calling me.  The attendant said that she would submit a no call form and it would take about a week to go through.  Maybe they should make that little box a bit more noticable on the damn form.

I just received a call from the (888) 822-0335 number at 9:50 pm!! No message left. I sent an email to the email provided on David's Bridal Privacy Policy page. If I receive another call, I will be verbally request they remove me from their list(s), let alone call at such a horrible hour.

Unfortunately, when you visit a store like David's Bridal, you go through a registration process.  In the fine print it states they can market your information to other business.  When you sign this form (which you must sign in  order to browse the collection of dresses) you waive your right to privacy.  According to Federal Law 1(5 U.S.C. §§ 41-58) they may contact you for up to 180 days (6 months) after you sign the form.  If you purchase a dress they may contact you "with or without" your permission for (2) two years.

The National Do Not Call List doesn't apply when either of those scenarios are presented.  

I am sure most businesses will abide by your wishes, although legally they do not have to.  I would simply ask them to take you off their phone bank list.  You may need to do some research and follow up with a letter to David's Bridal or MW Tux.

Wow these people are RUDE. I called them back to be placed on the do not call list and the lady who answered said ,"Uh why?". Well because I HATE telemarketing. "We're not telemarketers. We're partnered with David's Bridal." Ugh,I don't care...take me off your list! V_V

same situation...I called back and it was MW Tux telling me about a promotion that David's Bridal already informed me of.  The lady was very pleasant and after telling me about it she said she would put me on the Do Not Call list.
