They just called me. I didn't know the number, so I sent them to voice mail. They didn't leave a message so I decided to google the number since it was a 1-888 number. This is what I found. I guess next time they call I will answer and let them know my wedding is an entire year away and I will let them know if and when we are interested in tuxes!

Do they actually check your ID, or can you just put down any ole
fake name and info?

If they called me I would say Wrong Number
and Pretend I have No idea what their talking about.
If they kept calling I would blow the air horn for every call.

I guess you can always put down a Fake phone number though.

What do they do when You say I don't have a phone at all.
And I have no contact numbers to give because I'm new in town
and dont know anyone. My family lives in Canada and they have
no phones either. And no matter what they say, you keep saying
I have no phone numbers!
Hello? I mean it is possible for someone to NOT have a phone at all.

I called it back and it was a tux place. THEY CALLED ME BY MY NAME!! Scary! they said "Alexis, we are so glad you called, is your groom ready to come pick out his tux?" I said NO we do not want your business STOP CALLING MY NUMBER. After they called and hung up for about a month everyday. He said he would take my number off the calling list...hopefully he will. I did not even get my dress from David's Bridal...I just shopped there once!

I have been getting the same number calling my phone everyday around 7 pm and they don't leave a message. Now when I try to call back it keeps saying "you are calling outside of business hours" even though its the middle of the day! I guess I'll have to call them in the evening since that's when they call me! This is ridiculous.

they called my cell which is on a do not call list and when I finally decided to check on it the number came back to the mens wearhouse.  when I tried to call to discuss it with them all you get is a machine telling you to leave your name and number.  I left them a message I am on the do not call list and if they were smart enought to realize it they would know we had already been in their store location to arrange for the tuxes which I am seriously considering cancelling at this point.

Well, I went to Davids Bridal last week (not getting married for 2 years but thought it would be fun with my friend) and we both had to fill out those info and consent forms to try on dresses.

Well, I DID check off the box that said no solicitations, (email OR phone), and when I refused to give the lady my phone number she persisted and said that if I didnt give them my phone number how can they call me and tell me when my dress (if ever I buy one) is ready?

So after she REASSURED me that as long as I checked off the box to prevent solicitations, I gave her my phone number.

well, i think its safe to say I'm still receiving e-mails and phone calls. And who knows what other places David's Bridal sold my email and phone number to because you cant really tell in a spam email like that!

I ordered a dress from Davids Bridal on saturday and two days later this number called me, i didnt answer, they left no answer, two days after that they called again. They think I am the bride and didn't care when I said I was a bridesmaid. I called the number back and some girl answers and says "hello" and denied calling me. weird....

This is Mens Wearhouse. I also got my dress and all the wedding parties dresses from Davids Bridal. If you are not wanting to get your tuxes from MWH just call them and let them know you are going with another company and to please stop calling and to remove your name and number from their system. We opted to go with MWH so we are not upset with MWH however I am not thrilled that Davids Bridal is selling my name and cell phone number to other people!

MW Tux - Call them back and they hang up on you.

Around a month or so ago my fiance visted, like so many others here, David's Bridal.  Since then, we've received no less than 6 hang-up calls a week from this "888" number.  I Googled it tonight and found this website - and all the other complaints about the calls.  I got my most recent hang-up call about 20 minutes ago and I just called back and spoke to a woman who says she's with MW Tux and that they are "partnered" with David's Bridal.  She empasized "partnered" when I made a remark about David's Bridal selling our phone number.  She knew my finace's name without my telling her, either.  She claims that all the hang-up calls are a result of a problem with their "computer upgrade" that they just did.  Their computers seem to be working fine if they know names without being told, I'd say.  Anyhow, I told her that I wanted our # off their lists and they successfully steered our business elsewhere.  Hope the calls stop now.

yep..im sure its david's bridals as i registered w/ them about 2 weeks ago and also bought some shoes at the store.

called me on my cell the other day.  They left a messege stating they were a tux place.  If they call again, I will call them back and ask them not to contact me again.

I'm on the National Do Not Call list and I still get calls from telemarketers. and I have told them when they call I am on the list and want to be placed on theirs. so far I've had very little luck.

I just received a call from this number and it was the Men's wearhouse.  They got my number from David's Bridal.

Recieved a call today around 3:30pm. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Like the rest of you I looked at wedding dresses at Davids Bridal. But I only looked on Satuday and it is Tuesday! They sold my number very fast! I didn't find anything I liked there. Everything looked cheap and badly made. They also didn't have 2 of the 3 dresses I actually wanted to try on! Next time they call I will ask them to remove me from their list.

What a scam! I wouldn't buy my dress from them after this even if I found one there that I liked!

Same situation. How come David's Bridal gave up people's numbers to others like this? I also checked the box of not calling when I registered on their website. I still get the call from them. I guess I have to call them back also to put me on their DO NOT CALL list.

this number calls me every once in awhile and doesn't say anything. all they do is just hangup. its very irritating and i don't know if they're charging me a whole bunch or not. i would really like it if they would stop.

I just started getting these calls.  My wedding was back in February.  I just left them a nasty message telling them that it was a cell phone number and in addition was on the do not call registry, and to take me off their list.  I know this wasn't polite of me to do, but I've had enough - 6 calls in 2 days?  I don't think so.
