I was not sure of the source of these calls (I don't answer unless I know who's calling, and since they never leave messages...) but they have happened with astonishing regularity over the three weeks it's been since my ONE visit to David's Bridal. Needless to say, I don't think either David's or Men's Wearhouse will be dressing my wedding next year.

I couldn't find anything at David's Bridal. The consultant was extremely rude and told me what I wanted was crappy. I will never take my business to them again!

You are all correct in that David's Bridal sold your information to Men's Wearhouse a.k.a. MW Tux. In fact, Men's Wearhouse pays a high premium for every name it receives and is under contract to do so for some time. The MW call center insists on "live contact" before giving up and leaving a message. Which is why you'll receive several calls until you answer. Although annoying, these callers are only attempting to set an appointment for the bride and groom to visit a showroom and begin the process of selecting tuxedos. There is absolutly to obligation to use MW Tux or Men's Wearhouse. If you would like to avoid getting called again simply set an appointment (even if it's months later) or asked to placed on the DNC list. If your phone number is already on the National Do Not Call List you more than likely aknowledged allowing the calls by signing the form at a David's Bridal and/or bridal show.

I have been getting calls from this number along with other toll free numbers. The calls also did not start until I registered with David's Bridal.

I called back after reading the postings on here and told them that my fiance just bought a suit and she told me they would update their system. They told me they called because I registered with David's Bridal. She also knew all of my info including my wedding date just my their caller ID.

Called for past few days. Never left a message.  I called back today and it is Men's Warehouse.  They do have a partnership with David's Bridal where I got all my bridesmaids dresses from.  Want us to come in and look at their selection of tuxes which the vests and such are to match up exactly with David's colors.  And they offered rent 4 tuxes and groom's is free. Told her my wedding party is all over and she said they have several locations thorughout the US so you get a special id # and they can get fitted and pick up their deal closest to them, but yet style and colors will all be the same.

I've had it with these telemarketer calls! They called me four times since I registerred with David's. Nothing like a caller who calls every evening at 8:15 p.m. and hangs up. I agree with everyone on this post who feels duped into giving out private info, only to find out that it was immediately sold. One call was a recorded message about buying my accessories, but I was so incensed that I deleted it.
And what about their spams? I have had 2 or 3 per day since registering with them on Dec. 5 so I have asked them to stop.
I will not be buying my dress there!

Yes, the common link is David's Bridal.  I also get calls from this number but no voicemail messages.

I answered the phone and the person asked for me by name.  I asked them who it was but I didn't hear anything and so I hung up.  I called back and found out that it was Men's Wearhouse.  We already got the tux... and all I got was a recording that asked if I wanted to placed on the Do Not Call List, to press 1.  I did that and the phone just hung up.

Just got a call from 888-822-0335.  Man identified himself as being from Men's Wearhouse - says they coordinate with dresses from David's Bridal.

Missed this call on my cell and called it back. From "Men's Tux Warehouse". The computer said to push "1" if I want to be added to the do not call list.

I got a call from this number at 7pm the other night and didn't answer it because I don't answer calls from 800 #'s due to previous fraud issues. I finally looked it up today and it said Mens Warehouse. I did register with David's Bridal both online and in the store, and just got my first call from this number the other night... But i've been registered for over a month. If you call the number back it will say something along the lines of them not being reachable, but gives you an option to press 1 and not be called. I was sure to do that.. although i'm on the do not call list, but obviously people don't care to pay attention to that.

Call almost everyday for past week, but I always let it go to voicemail.  They never leave a message.  I also just registered at David's Bridal...how annoying!!

I bought a dress from David's Bridal a few weeks back, and by the time I had gotten home, this number was just on my cell phone, and not my landline number. When I spoke with someone from this number, they wanted me to come in with my husband to be and the grooms men to get fitted for tuxs, I told the lady that my husband to be and his best man have gotten their SUITS at JcPenny's, she told me that they should get Tux's instead of suits. She also wanted my bridesmaids to go to David's Bridal to get their dresses there as well. My Matron of Honor is my mother and she has already ordered her dress from another company. That's my entire wedding party. The lady kept on talking and I hung up on her. This number still appears on my cell phone. GRRR...

For the past couple of weeks I've been receiving daily calls from this number on my Verizon Wireless cellular phone from this number (and am recently engaged, so wouldn't be surprised if my fiance supplied my phone number to David Bridal).  The first time I received the call, I answered it and received a warning of my expired auto warranty - an automated 'voice' explains this when the call is answered; if it goes to voicemail, no message is left.  While this seems to have backed-off a bit, I just received a different call from another one of these companies (401-982-0438; didn't answer; no message received, but I see that number posted on this website as well).

call the number back and press 1 ... that will add you to their "do not call" list. note that even if you are on the federal "do not call" list, this does not affect men's warehouse calling you, because you gave them explicit permission on the david's bridal form. you have to call back to get your # removed. men's warehouse could have also gotten your phone number from a bridal show or other wedding event where you filled out your personal info.

I have been receiving calls from this number since I registered at David Bridal- DAILY. I answer and no one is on the other line. I never asked to be on a list.

I also gave David's Bridal my phone number and have started to receive the phone calls from this same number.... They are going to hear it from me!
