I am getting call after call from a recording that says, Eric Rieley calling to tell you your gym membership is past due......bla bla bla.  

I don't have a gym membership.  I have called them 3 times requesting that they remove my number from their system.  They keep calling.

Have been getting these calls for weeks now, always during the morning hours. I just ignore them

888-827-9262 is ABC Financial,  a company that processes credit card payments.  Mine call was related to 1060 Old Broadway, Westville, NJ 08093. Phone 856-742-5300.  Apparently, you can't just call and cancel a membership.  Nor can you simply stop paying.  It's sad that their website

lets you "Join on line", but they dosen't offer the same courtesy to cancel.  In the days of email, web, and phone apps, they require you to either come in and cancel or use certified mail.

Left a callback number on my cell.  After receiving phone calls from ABC Financial about them not getting my health club ACH payment.  I tried to cancel my membership over the phone.  They said I either had to come in to the club and cancel or cancel by certified mail.  I drove to the club and cancelled.

Like others, I keep getting messages from 18888279262 regarding my gym membership. I do not have a gym membership. I signed up on 'Do not call' list but do not know if it will work.

These morons have called my cell at least 20 times over the past week. Message states it's Eric Riley from ABC (Always Beware of Cons) Financial calling about my health club membership. Funny thing is I've never had a health club membership! Sounds like a con to me, don't call them or give them any info.

calles me today at 5:47pm & again at 6:53pm. The messed up part is I had a 1 year membership with Work Out World and when my memeber ship was up they just decided on there own to renew it (which was not in the contract) so I get billed every month. They did the same exact thing to my boyfriend. He tried to fight back but they just kept chaging his card. I had to chane my card number. Work Out World never once contacted me about anything then they "sold of" my "debt" to these snakes. Take a piece of advise is you live in the Massachusetts area, DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH WORK OUT WORLD THEY"LL SCREW YOU & YOU"LL BE HOUNDED BY THE SNAKES AT ABC FINANCIAL.

yea...I been getting these calls too. But in my case I was never late my first 5 months or so and every month since I signed up I kept getting late charges and "payment never received" notices...and since no one wanted to get rid of these I just stopped going...Ill give them a reason to call my phone...and an ear full when they get a piece of my mind...

I cancelled my membership back in Oct.  I was told to send a cancellation letter to the gym which I did.  According to ABC Financial I had to cancel with them.  Sorry, I did what I was told to do.  I had to cancel my credit card because of these idiots.  They keep leaving me message after message.

This number keeps calling me regarding my Bally's Fitness account that cancelled 4 years ago and was fully paid up on without a late payment.  I now have a local gym membership with automatic payments that are up to date.  SCAMMER!!!

In my case, this turns out to be completely legit, although I take exception to them calling, not leaving a message, and leaving me to wonder if they are for real.  My bank issued me a new credit card...same number new expiration date.  My monthly fee charge at my gym was then declined, hence the call from ABC.  I eventually did contact them and provided my updated information, but only after contacting my health club to be certain they were legit and worked for the health club.  They need a better way to do this.  I'm certainly not giving out sensitive financial information to an unknown person calling me from a toll free line.

Started getting this call today on my cell phone. Message states it's Eric Riley from ABC Financial calling about my health club membership. (Don't have one, have not had one since Gold's Gym in the early 90"s). Recording states that they need to "update my billing information". Yeah, right. My phone number has obviously been harvested by scammers, and I'm getting spam/phishing calls from them on my cell phone!

They are a scam! I cancelled my membership and they have "no record" & are now threatening to turn me over to collections.  Write the Better Business Bureau.

Received a call from this phone number.  It is associated with my monthly withdrawals for my Anytime Fitness Membership.

got a call from them today, claimed to be ABC financial.  sounded "phishy" so I looked it up here.  Yup.

Just as an FYI, I had a billing question for my gym and they asked me to call the phone number being discussed here. So 888-827-9262 is legit.

Not a con. I canceled my gym membership but they couldn't find my paperwork at the gym, so I just disputed the charge with the bank and told them I'm no longer at that gym. Now they won't leave me alone even though I've answered and told them to stop charging me since I'm not at the gym any more.

Instead of emailing you or saying 'Hey, we need a new credit card on file' when they check you in at Golds, they just have this outbound auto dialer call you over and over again until you update your credit card. My card was not set to expire for another month when they started blowing up my phone. My card went through just fine, but they wanted to blow up my phone as a 'courtesy, to advise me that my card was expiring. It's extremely obnoxious and rude.

Left a long message on my voicemail from Eric Riley of ABC Financial Services.  Claims that they need to update my billing information for my gym membership.  My gym doesn't use a third party billing system.  Clearly a phishing scheme.

If this is my gym calling me about my membership as others have stated, then they need to leave a message informing me of who they are and why they are calling. All of my credit cards are up to date, as is my payment information. When I called the number back, they immediately asked me for my zip code, without first telling me WHY they were calling. I don't have time for businesses like this. They should conduct business like most normal companies.
