If Chase told you that this is not them, well, there should be absolutely no question about it from that point on. They do not know if you have a card or not. They simply call and text thousands and thousands of numbers. Odds are that a lot of someone's in that group have those cards.

- Rachel replies to KPThis number called me this morning. I just called chase to verify this number and it WAS a verified call. They brought in the credit card department to verify it for me as the phone did leave me uneasy(though they did know information that only chase would know) and the chase direct number said it was real. Number I called to verify was 1(877)242-7372.
- MikeHuntletonRobo message left from this number, seems like a scam call to me, but you decide if its really Chase by calling the number on the back of your card to find out. Never trust the caller to be who they claim and certainly never trust the call back number given by an unknown caller.

New card being shipped and old one cancelled. I confirmed this while on phone on my account and the new card number had already been issued showing last four digits. I logged back into my chase account and called and spoke with them to confirm. this was valid number for chase fraud dept.

- DiI literally got a call from this number this morning, but the message they left was about my card and Amazon. I'm a broke college student, so I'm not sure what the scammers would do with 15 bucks, haha. Glad this site is here!
- 1 888 844-7979Message allegedly from "Chase" - There is no account in my name. Agree with previous poster that IF you receive a VALID call, you don't go to 800 notes to post you received a valid call. The posters here that are saying the number is valid are likely working with/for scammers.

- SamirI will only state verifiable facts here and not judge if the caller from this number was legitimate or a scammer.
I did apply for a Chase credit card last week online. The next day I got a call from this number claiming to be from Chase Fraud Department. They asked to confirm my address, which I did. There were no questions about personal info (mother's maiden name, SS#,). Afterwards I was told my new card would be in the mail in a week.
Take from that what you will. - JJI have received text, phone calls and they seem to be from chase bank. I don't have any accounts with Chase bank.

- BTI applied for a credit card with Chase last week also.... I missed the call (DANG IT!!) and they left no message but I'm assuming they wanted to verify some info also for the possible new account I applied for. Don't forget... The scammers can ghost this number or any number they want to make you think its legit and still not be Chase Bank. Take no chances and always call them back that you know to be a legit number. ie: number back of.your card or on application you applied with. Peace and Love
