Claimed to be from Chase. The caller asked if I was familiar with credit reports. He asked, "Do you know Experian?". I heard everything in the background...a call center. I said I wasn't going to talk to you and I hung up.

I just received a call from this number because it appeared on my Caller ID as 'valid'. The caller was a male with a robotic voice so difficult to understand that I'm now convinced it was just somebody using a pre-recorded message that he repeated each time I told him I couldn't understand what he was saying. I finished the call by saying, "Buddy, this is a bad day for telecommunications." since I initally thought it was a very bad phone connection.

Since I closed all accounts with this bank over four years ago and my number is on the do not call list,  I did not answer the call.

I agree. I received a call from this number today (1/22/2025), and it showed JPMorgan Chase on the caller ID. I do not have any accounts with Chase at all, so there is no reason for them to be calling me. I did not answer, and they did not leave a message/voice mail. I am blocking the number.

SPAM call.  Spoofed # (888-844-7979) is a real # for JP Morgan/Chase bank, but I have no JP Morgan or Chase accounts.  Left no message.

Got 2 missed calls from this number. Turns out it is most likely spoofed since I don't have an account with them and never have. Can't wait to see how many times they call.

Not a real call from Chase (caller ID said Chase).  They said they were with account services, I told them to make up their mind, either they are from Chase (don't do business with them) or they were from account services.  She hung up, funny how that goes, they don't want to get called out on their crap

I received a call from “JP Morgan Chase,” whom I have never done business with. When I told the caller I thought she had the wrong number she hung up without a word.

I received a call from this number but no message was left. I assume it's a scam or phishing call.

They called me today. It came up Chase on caller ID. I kind of think it's a scam because I've never had a Chase card in my life.

Answered call because I have a Chase account. Caller had foreign accent, difficulty in understanding. I assumed a scam call, and I said ,"send me an Email,I do not understand you."

This is a valid # but it is used by scammers as a spoof # to to conduct scams centered around Chase accounts, to make people think it is actually Chase calling.  Case is a large company and the chances of any given random person having a Chase account of some sort is extremely high, thus resulting in a lot of calls becoming successful and profitable scams.  These callers usually originate from the phone scammer capital of the world, India, funded by Israeli investors. The Indian govt couldn't care less as it's profitable for them and the US govt does not care to do anything about it as they care more about their friendship with India and Israel more than they care about the security and well-being of US citizens.  The DoNotCall list is a joke in most cases and certainly in cases where the scammers are located in another country.  Be careful, it's a jungle out there.  Know your enemy.  Your friends don't steal your jobs and your sovereignty then scam you as they do so, folks.
