Definite phishing call. Call that came up on caller ID different from number left in VM to call back (833-274-5933). Called Chase number on back of my card, they had no records of calls to me and said to treat the call as spam and ignore it.

Fraud. They tried to get info from me where they play the trick where they ask you to verify some info, but then expect you to just tell them the info. That's not how to verify information over the phone, that's exactly how phishing works. Then they said the reason for the call was to ask some questions about a recent claim I filed, but then would not tell me the subject of that claim, meaning they did not know details and again wanted to phish for information.

Call is from Chase Fraud Department. Call is valid.

I'm having the same issue call me for claim my bank got charge $100 from them taking $112 and $50 dollars from me and chase bank charge me $100 I'm confused and they call me back for an Uber to dispute I don't know....

Got a call from 888-844-7979 claiming to be Zelle fraud division of JP Morgan Chase. First a guy who identified himself as Daniel Coffman, who then transferred me to his 'supervisor' Brianna Odum. They disconnected when I told them I would call Chase Customer Service to verify them.
Watch out.

Got a call from this number asking me to verify basic information on my name change with my Chase credit card. I had only filed 3 days earlier and got a notification that it had been transferred to their research team. Caller is valid.

They now have your name and telephone number? Wow, the same info as they could get from looking at the white pages. or coming across a copy of your resume.

Have a missed call from this number. The message was from Denise from executive office client services who only said she needed to speak to the client. This may be legit as I did contact them reference the multiple issues I was having activating my new card. Every time I had tried calling to activate, it was a garbled mess on their end as they were having issues with their phone lines. It is activated now as I finally got through a few days later, but I just tried logging in online and it appears the website is down. Cannot verify if it is fraud or not.

This number is not chase! do not provide them with any of your information. they are phishing and trying to access your account to scam and steal from you.

To be honest, given how lousy banks or other financial institutions are, wouldn't be surprised if this really is Chase, and they're too inept to even know their own numbers. As is, missed call, no other attempts from Chase to reach me, reviews seem to imply this number is not legitimate.

Caller said was calling from the JPMorgan Chase Fraud Department, wanted to verify some information about a recent transaction. I called Chase Customer phone number 800-935-9935, and they told me is not a Chase legit number, I was told that Chase never calls. Never give any personal information if they call you, is better to call Chase directly.

the 888-844-7979 number is not a chase phone number. I called the chase number on the back of my card to verify the 888-844-7979 number and they said that this number is not affiliated with them. Do not give any information to the 888-844-7979 number, always verify with the chase number on the back of your card.

both 888-844-7979 and 813-250-6463 called me on the name day, leaving me voice mails and claiming to be from the chase fraud department. i inquired about these numbers with the chase number on the back of my credit card and the chase employee said that neither of these numbers belong to chase. Never give these numbers your personal information, and always call the chase number on the back of your card to verify.
