Posts here say this is a debt collector; I have no debts, no family members that have debts, so I do not know why I get calls every day from this number. Caller never leaves a message. Irritating. Must be a scam call.

This is a debt collector and what makes you think that you have to actually owe a debt for them to call you?

Why else would they call?

OK, wrong number or calling for someone who had your number in the past.  Calling someone with the same last name.  Trying to find a relative.  Trying to find someone you know or might have known.  How about those for starters?

Anything is possible...although, as I have had this telephone number for over 35 years, it is not likely that they are looking for someone who had this same number more than 35 years ago. All my relatives live overseas, so it is not likely that they are looking for any of them, either. And, as I previously stated, I have no debts. So...wouldn't it just be easier if the caller left a message identifying themselves, the purpose of the call, and a call back number? Perhaps then I could straighten this out.

Or they just wish to convince you that you have a debt and then bilk you out of your money.

These people keep calling asking for a Carlos Bryant.  This person does not live here. It’s annoying.

I got a phone call from that number and they’re asking for someone else who doesn’t live here, and on the caller ID it comes up TRANSWORLD SYSTEM! I think it’s a scam!

I think it is a debt collector named Transworld Systems.  The even neater part is that there is an easy solution posted in this thread.  Most likely several times.

Block the number on your pgone

What is a "pgone"?  Why would you block this call when there is a simple solution posted in this thread?  Only an employee of that company would suggest that people give up their legal right to sue this company.

I received calls from these people two days in a row. The phone will ring a half of a ring,then cut off. I have call blocking on my phone but it is still annoying.

About a dozen calls in a week, never a message, other posters say it is NCO Financial Svcs. They are obviously looking for someone else, they probably hired a bunch of local hicks to man phones and make cold calls. My phone number has been in service since the 1950s, the family has always been debt-free, so clearly NCO is run by imbecilic idiots.

Someon sounding like they were from a foreign country asked for me by name. Wanted more info I told them I wasn’t going to give them squat did not owe any money to anyone. I think it’s a scam. Then they said they would remove me from their calling list..

This number 888-899-6650 called and the gentleman identified himself with such broken English that i could not understand him.  He went to ask me a question and hung up.  Then called again and it was a dead line.  It says online it is a collection company, but it must be a mistake that they are calling me.

this number keeps calling my house also. i talked to a supervisor and she said this is their complaint number. 866-545-9191. this is a scam number
