- JayAnneWe got a letter from a company in Las Vegas with a phone number 888 983 4518. They give their name and address as:
resort notification services
5348 vegas drive, sute 342
las vegas, nv 89108-2347
They've also phoned us several times and left messages for us to phone them.
We have not done so yet but am thinking I ought to just to tell them to stop writing and phoning. I am sure it is a scam as they claim to solve any timeshare issues but don't have any proper letter heading to their letter, it just looks real amateurish.
Is there anywhere I can report this outfit to if they persist in trying to contact us about something we do not want to discuss with them.- Caller: Resort Notification Service
- R SmithI received a LETTER dated March 2013 from a firm calling itself "Resort Notification Service" located at 5348 Vegas Dr, Suite 342, Las Vegas, NY 89108-2347 stating that I "now qualify to permanently eliminate all future Timeshare Maintenance Fees." It goes on to say they have attempted to contact me several times without success and if they did not hear from me soon they couldn't guarantee qualification. I called them to let them know I don't own a timeshare. I spoke to an agent who acknowledged the mistake in their records and said she was very sorry about the error. When asked how they got my name, she replied that they receive numerous mailing lists. When asked if they sent letters to all those on the lists, I was abruptly disconnected.

- PJA| 1 replyI have been recieving letters for Resort Notification Services in Las Vegas telling me they can get rid of my timeshare fees. I called the number, spoke to a person who wanted to set up a time to meet with a representative at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Troy, MI. Not sure that I want to do this. She seemed surprised that I had a timeshare. A little research online is showing that it's not a trusted business and they seem to be cold calling to people who doun't own timeshares.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DS replies to PJAI have been receiving these also and I was about to call before I decided to do a quick search. I was beginning to wonder if I was a victim of fraud or something, but I will just keep discarding these notices. Thanks for the heads up!

No web site found? Not sure if this is it or not: http://www.onlineresortassistance.com/resort- ... are-assistance/
Not much information in there, no address, and the whois lookup shows it was created in 2013 but they used a proxy service to conceal who they are and where they are located.
BBB gives them no rating with 8 complaints that have a pattern: http://www.bbb.org/southern-nevada/business-r ... gas-nv-90019942
No business registration under that name in Nevada or anywhere else for the matter, which would preclude them from legally conducting business.
The address looks to be a one story commercial building in a ratty neighborhood. So since the suite number is 342 and there is no third floor, I imaging that this is simply a mail drop with a bunch of mailboxes in it. There also seems to be some sketchy looking mail marketing companies there with 2 different names but the same identical web sites.
