- Erika replies to Gman| 1 replyScam , Defiantly not a legit company . You will know when a legit company calls you as they won’t leave detailed voicemails on your voice mail as this is a violation of hipaa laws . Also they will give you a name of a reputable company and not state they are calling from a processing dept . I guarantee you have nothing to worry about as long as you don’t give these crooks your info or more importantly your money as that’s all they’re wanting
- Tygerkat replies to ErikaWhat does HIPAA have to do with these calls? None of the posts indicate they're medical related.
- 123helpme| 31 repliesThank you Tygerkat for pointing out that import fact. They are a debt collector & don't know which one. They do enjoy trying to collect a debit that is years pass the statue of limitations (for the state I'm in) for them to collect in court. But I guess they can still go after the debit. Advise do not give even a penny as this will reset the clock on the debit all over again. Make no arrangements, payments or admit to the debt. If its pass your states statue of limitations then SOL for them! You can also demand that they stop contacting you. You may want to seek professional legal advise or search the web as I did to see what rights you may have. Good luck!

- BigA replies to Tygerkat| 3 repliesThat word fits in with the rest of the fractured English post.
- Tygerkat replies to BigA| 2 repliesYes, it was quite painful to read.
- Anonymous replies to Tygerkat| 4 repliesActually there is a statute regarding the time you can be sued for a debt. We have received notices stating such. If you make contact with them then the time frame starts over.

- JAutomated message implies there are pending legal matters to be filed “in your county” if you don’t call back to verify your address. Laughable!

- Tygerkat replies to AnonymousThere may be a "statute" of limitations but there isn't a "statue", which is what that person claimed.
- Marilyn replies to Tygerkat| 8 repliesYes there is! The statute of limitations in PA is 4 years from your last payment or payment arrangement. Never make payment arrangements or make a payment until you know when the bill is from and from whom.
- Tygerkat replies to Marilyn| 5 repliesWork on your reading comprehension. There is no statue of limitations.
