But, if you go to hell...you'll be shaking the hands of a lot of old
friends down there...so don't WORRY about it.

I got a call on my cell phone in Toronto around 7pm.  I was in the middle of dinner so did not answer and they left no message.

My proven way to stop these calls......

Answer, speak immediately so the computer will transfer to a live person. Then have fun with it, tell them you are so interested, but claim to have to keep doing things, like answering doorbell, getting pen and paper, getting credit card.

The more you can waste that live person's time (and wages) will get you off call lists faster than any "do not call" list. I do this, and they never call again, and I have rarely been getting new calls.

Hit them where it hurts, the wallet.

If a nice percentage of people did this, all telemarketing would probably stop...

And please feel free to pass all of this along to others.

Take it one more step and set their ringtone but pick "Silent" as the sound level. All the other options on that number's ringtone page are set to "off" so I never ever hear them call at all.

Some idiot keeps phoning my cell number, never leaves a message.

i love how people are like "don't call me" etc on here....do you actually think whoever called you from that number is going to look on this board and listen to you? lol

They call my cell and it rings once and they hang up even if I don't answer it. Getting very annoying and I am pretty pissed off. I have a son who is disabled and I get calls from area code 902 and its his doctors or specialists from the IWK Hospital calling with news of his appointments and his medications so please and thank you stop calling me and find something else to do with your time instead of disturbing people with unwanted calls and plus your very ignorant by not speaking to anyone.

I also received a call on my cell from area code 902-708-8305.  I despise those who hide behind such calls and continue to abuse private cell numbers.  Some of us pay for the minutes and long distance because of their abuse and for their own selfishness.  Absolute thieves!
