Are people from the US of A  touring Canada submitted to the law of the land? In that case, I find it weird that there is nothing to do except be harassed daily by those télémarketers. Will somewhere in Canada,someone dedicated tp the protection of air waves do  the appropriate reaction and intercept and ban those lawless robot callers?
I'm fed up mostly because they use an area code similar to the one used in my city and I sometimes doubt if I should answer.

I thought that too, but today I got the recorded message on my voicemail.... WIN A CRUISE>.....

Received a phone call from this number saying I won a cruise. It totally sound like a scam.

are the  calls  coming  from 1-902 or 11-902 or both, not that it matters because  the number  is probably  spoofed  but  it mght provide  a way to differentiate how many groups are operating .

Please don't waste my time

I would have much rather won a fake cruise. All this person did was breathe into the crackling awkward silence and whisper "seven days" as if this were 2002.

I heard a great story. Someone who received one of these calls, texted the number with the complete works of Shakespeare which his phone broke into a gadzillion texts and ended up plugging up their system.
Sounded like good medicine.

I have filed a complaint for phone number 1-902-708-8305 to the CRTC at 1-866-580-3625 and encourage others to do the same to hopefully put an end to these scammers.

got call from 19027088306 on my cell .did not answer.this call area code 902 is from nova scotia .

I had just activated a new line with the Chat-r network and was getting these calls within 2 weeks. The only explanation is that my phone # was already in their auto-call list from some time in the past when it belonged to someone else.
Some of the calls left their schpeel on voicemail and others didn't.

WindoosPhone 8: integrated 'call + SMS filter' app. works wonders. The only calls that get through are the ones from 'new' numbers, which is very few now, after blocking several.

If only I could speak to an actual person on the other end.

Just so I could tell them to eat a d*ck.

And hang up.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
