What's even better is if you mark it as blocked (and then province it's coming from), and then press the bottom left of your Samsung Galaxy, then choose reject. That way you won't even have to hear ANY ringtone. I don't know if you can do it with iPhones or other Android phones. It's been great for me. I now have a collection of five blocked numbers, all from different provinces.

I have all telemarketers set up under the same contact and have them auto-dropped to voicemail.

Did not answer-please do not call again

just called my cel.  Didn't answer but they left a message that I had won a cruise to the Bahamas.  Yah, sure!

I was calling you and was ready to give you a free cruise. Oh well on to the next caller.

None of us called you.  It's an auto-dialed message.  We're all in the same boat.

I've tried that, but these calls come from so many different numbers that I exceeded 10 in a week.  Strangely they often come from numbers with the same 3 digits as mine, which I've heard is a common issue.  Not area code, but the first 3 of the main number.  Frustrating.

So you aren't buying anything from anyone?  Are you making all your own goods?  What are you using to access the internet and post here?  Did you weave your own fabric on a home made loom too?

I too got a call fom this number, so I googled it and found this site. I still don't know who the call was from, but I gotta say the comments were pretty entertaining! I like where this is going, a bit of bickering, touch of sarcasm, slight humour... the internet wins again!

O got a call from these people. didnn;t pick up. They should identify themselves and GO AWAY!

I'm not sure if this will help, but I just sent an email to the folks at Bell Aliant to see if they can track down the owner of the number.  If they can't, I'll fire the same message off to the folks at Eastlink since they are the only two service providers in Nova Scotia or PEI, assuming this is a  land line.  If it's a cell number, tracking it could be difficult.

Received  calls from this number on my cell more than once, a recorded message of congratulations told me my number was selected for something?? I think the people who still use this method of marketing live in the past, not realizing they're repelling not attracting buyers.

Got a call from this number and did not answer. FIDO prepaid.

It's a company call Royal Bahama Cruise Lines based out of Florida. I did the survey so I could talk to someone and the automated message said I get 2 free boarding passes and if I wanted more to press 1. I pressed 1 and someone from a Florida number called five minutes later and I asked what company this was. I called the number on their website and asked them to stop calling me and they told me they will put me on their do not call list. I guess we'll see if it works.
