- StefanieI had a couple of voicemails from this number, and when I read all of this I was really worried about calling them back. I'm glad I did though, because it turned out to be just an outstanding Hydro bill from my last address. The person I spoke to was very polite, did not threaten me and suggested I contact Toronto Hydro directly before making any payments. I didn't know I had anything outstanding; I'm glad they told me so it won't affect my credit.

- Alam| 1 replyI just spoke to their manager Antonio and told him about the harassment. There are two guys named Brian Sing and Josh. They called my home every day any time. There are very rude have no manners. Asked for my date of birth and when I asked why..they said its confidential. Funny you asked for my personal information which you should not and when I asked why? you said ..blah blah blah. You know what, both of you guys are a big fat IDIOT. No brain. Zero talented. USELESS, GOOD FOR NOTHING, HOBO, DUM DUM, PIG...WORST THAN ANYTHING..

- not impressed replies to Alamsome guy named "mr doon" dropped of a unprofessional handwritten letter to my mailbox and didn't even use last names of the people who is looking for it just stated call at the this # i called it is Partners in Credit i have no idea why they would drop this kind of letter like that but based on the unprofessional manner i will not be contacting them it seems too sketchy
- tina4112 replies to peeved offI am getting phone calls from pic at this number 1 905 886 0555.
I do not know who they are or what they want i do not have any credit cards. - jane replies to peeved offI just got a call from them - they kept asking for personal information like middle names or birth date - which I stated I wouldn't give over the phone. They said if I called rogers or bell I'd give that - I said if I called them that was a different thing - they were calling me - he kept insisting that I give out personal information - I wouldn't and said if whoever felt I owed them money (I have no idea who it might be) wanted it, they could contact me directly. Seriously - who calls and expects personal info over the phone? If you seriously think I owe you money - you get me that info - you don't say - give me your middle name before I tell you how much you owe... - now THERE's an incentive... - I don't even tell that to people I like.....
- Simon| 1 replyI keep getting calls from this number 1-855-282-5582 showing from ( United States). Partners in Credit are very rude dont identify themselves and what the company is .I have told them numerous times that no Stephanie Williams live here. So they being rude to me I responded back RUDE yelling and swearing at them.I told them do i sound like a women, if not check out the difference between a man and women and to check out themselves. If this calling continues that I would write a letter to the Better Business Brueau on their non professionalism and the harassing calls that i get. I finally hung up on them after telling them to F.... off and kiss my ass.

Claimed to be a manager of some sort. Impossible....a manager would have at least some type of training.
This company is indeed a joke and I can say that there is at least one guy there who should be working for a genuine
employer who might appreciate him.
Otherwise, ignore most of what comes at you from this company. More important...refuse ANY further dealings with any outfit that HIRES this company. That's where the slime is slickest. - trident replies to WORTHY CITIZENSo things are just hunky- dory for you! Well done.
Some of us who do not drink, take drugs, etc., but cannot pay our bills due to various situations don't have it so good.
Those of us on disability pensions in Ontario who simply cannot gain employment are more so affected.

I call back andhad a British answer in machine tell me there is a 2 minute wait then was passed to another answering machine of a guy named Amid Agamel sp? And wanted me to leave a message. Never owed anything to anyone. My ex signed my name on a store card back in 1992 but it took a letter from a lawyer to stop harassing me.

- Ramjet| 1 replyNasty [***] - Also call with unlisted numbers, which raises the question as to if the callers are
who they say they are.
The good news is that these are "last resort" debt collectors, They "buy" debts at a small percentage
of the amount owing. Once they give up, you won't be hearing from them.
Just change your number, use call screening, don't answer unlisted numbers, more impro
Their calls are unique in that they start with silence, waiting for someone to talk.- Caller: debt collectors

I refuse to talk to these people.- Caller: Partners In Credit
- Forest replies to timActually, and I have had this happen before, but if they are calling for someone else, you can tell them you've never heard of that person and to take you off the list. They might not believe you and you will likely get calls from other telemarketers and/or credit companies but I have never received calls from that same number again.
- heatherIts super interesting to read all this now, though I wish I had done so before my first payment to them! I thought their conversational style was a little loud and rude, but knew I was in debt with Fido so considered it legit. Since dealing with them for my second payment, I've become SUPER skeptical and incredibly offended by their behaviour. I have been ignoring their calls since the woman I spoke with told me I had to give cash to the 'manager' at the Royal Bank and take a picture of the receipt to send to her via email. It just seemed a bit shady. As I continued to ignore her calls for two weeks, she left me numerous voicemails just repeatedly yelling at me. Not cool. I will call FIDO today to inquire but does anyone know the impact this could have on my credit.... I'm just super wary of paying them because of all the conversations happening in this forum. Plus they're [***], so like no - I don't want to give you my money. Any advice would be welcomed!

- ShaunI had these people call and leave a message on my phone, identifying themselves as "Partners in Credit" and they where calling on behalf of the city I live in and that it was "urgent" I call them back - my wife called me with the information and they even had a file # to quote. I called this "Michelle" a handful of times from work but only got her voice mail. I am not sure what it's about since I have I lived in this town for over 12 years, had one bank account and have not had a credit card in well over 12 years.
