Caller stated that I owed $50 on a medical bill. When I asked him to provide a bill via the USPS he got nasty and insulting. This is either a debt collection service with no sense of ethics or it is a scam. Either way, best not to deal with them!!

I have gotten called hundreds of times by you people, sometimes it's calls after calls all in one day. Please stop calling me. Last time I answered you kept telling me I owed a thousand dollars on a bill I never even had.

Just got my new phone # today, shortly after getting it this # calls me asking for someone I never heard of.  Told them there was no one here by that name. They did not state who they were , they just hung up.

This guy sounded real mad demanding to talk to a Tim. Must be some scam. They kept saying this must be Tim or someone else. I told them do not call list.

Have this number blocked and it still rings on my phone... what is with that? How to get rid of this anyone know how?

These people are a scam.. Trying to collect for a medical bill , when we were not even in the state at the time this alleged medical bill was done.. Complete Bulls^&t artists.

I received a call from credit check today and it only rang twice,so I called back right away and was put on hold and then the call was gone.  I don't have great reception at my home,so I am requesting you email me at barbhill57@ yahoo.com if there is a bill I owe.   Thank you. Barbara Andes

Yes nothing like posting your name and e mail address on a site that has absolutely nothing to do with your callers, thus making it very easy for scammers to harvest the name and address and send you tons of spam and scam e mail.  If they contacted you and left you a message, they are required by law to do the following (note that is has to be US mail, not e mail, fax, phone, smoke signals, carrier pigeons, or semaphore flags):

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This company (or man) is extremely abusive and has broken several laws regarding credit collection and/or scamming. If you receive a call from this number, call the Federal Trade Commision to report them at 877-FTC-HELP or online at https://www.ftc.gov/complaint

I agree. I told them I could make monthly payments on the “bill” I don’t even have, and they got super upset. They said when, how much etc. and that was over 8 months ago, and they’re still bothering me over it.

Just think how much you might have learned had to taken the time to read all the posts.

A couple years back I took my daughter to the ER then neurology in Michigan. We have tricare. They pay all bills related to medical care other than copays. When home I received mail from tricare showing this particularly $600 bill was paid. Then the doctor tried to bill for the exact same things including hospital bed, test, meds etc. Tricare is not going to pay a duplicate bill. They will not stop. I'm never going to pay them for a duplicate bill. Unbelievable.
