Called here first time July 6th.
Caller ID says EXCHANGE STUDENT.
Gee, I've been waiting for that call, let me pick it right up .. ..

'Elsie' has suggested THE BEST IDEA I'VE HEARD YET there on page one. (Thank you!!!) For cel users, "give that # a name and set their ring to 'None' " while the rest of look for a way out. Nobody, including your phone provider can be counted on to stick up for your interests. Even they will offer nothing but more junk you don't need just to increase their own business. The gov't (DNC) sets rules to be skirted around by 'non-profit' shadow companies who are just loop-holing third party marketers. They won't/can't screen calls just by our individual preferrences, unless you want another beaurocracy as proof that government can 'create' jobs.

Our Prez wants us to play along to 'save the economy', and we'll get help no sooner than someone finds a way to make a buck doing it, a fact of life in this modern age. Learning to live with this mess is the best we can do until we'll probably have to pay for relief. Hang in there,  fellow victims!!

They want me to sponsor an exchange student

I keep getting calls from area code 909-259-5564, even though I am on a no-call list.  I have told them such and they keep calling anyway.

Showed up on my caller id.

No no no...  my caller id says these folks are "Exchange Student"!

Caller ID said Exchange Student so I didn't pick up.  Some years ago I was indirectly involved in working with exchange students, and host families for them were certainly not picked by robo calling machines. Families willing to host an exchange student were checked out and approved before they were allowed to participate in the program.  There is something fishy about these current calls.

Also I occasionally get a call from Out of Area with no phone number showing.  If someone is calling me and hiding their phone number, then I don't pick up.

Just received a call from this number. Caller ID said Exchange Student. I do not answer calls from anyone I don't know. Have no idea what they wanted or if they left a voice mail. Would have to tell them no to housing and/or giving any $$ right now as I'm back in college and have two small children, so money is tight. If it's a scam then I lost nothing by not answering.

Caller ID said "Exchange Student".  Did not pick it up.  Haven't had a job since 2009 so can't afford to host or donate any money.

Since when did a "non-profit" organization contain the word "MARKETING" in their name??? Horizon MARKETING, is a MARKETING firm!!!

My ID just said "Out of Area" I dialed this number back using someone else's phone. I got a message that said I could press1 to speak to a person and 2 if I wanted off THEIR do not call list. Then I got a recording to enter the phone number to remove "after the beep" I waited and waited for the beep. No beep. Message repeated itself. Still no beep. I entered the phone number and as soon as I was done, they message was Thank you for your call.  Don't know if it will work but thought it was worth a shot. After all they already have my number so I wasn't give them a new one.

Did you really think it was a call from an Exchange Student? The people making these calls are not Exchange Students at all. They use your # for various reasons. Only they know why. This is the first one I've received with Exchange Student on my caller ID. With the calls I get, it can be anything, Unknown, Michigan call or just about anything.Best thing to do if you don't want to be bothered is just turn the ringer off. Let the fools have fun!! Poor souls have nothing better to do.

I have tried their auto removal option and still get calls.  I tried wadeing through their BS and inform someone, personally, that I wanted my number removed.  Still getting calls.

I just got a call from the # 909-259-5564, and caller ID said Exchange Student. I did not answer it!!!!!!!!!!!!   I signed up like a month ago for "No Call List", alot of help that did hey?

I got one yesterday from " Exchange Student " too.....it's a new one for me...first time (and last I think).

I have comcast digital phone service, and it offers call-screening and call-forwarding. I have been adding some of these PITA calls to my screening list of numbers, but you are limited to 12.

So, I started using the call-forwarding (which is probably limited to 12 too?), but anyhow I set it up to forward to the FCC's complaint number ( 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322). Maybe that'll help, I know the robots will not notice, BUT....maybe the FCC will notice?
I have not actually called the FCC number lately, but it is probably a 'bot too?
Oh Well, I feel better anyway, using technology to at least try to thwart these [***].

same as the others above something about hosting student just tell them you are a convicted sex offender and would love to host.

I got a phone call from this number supposedly  from Exchange Student but left no message, we're on No Call List.

Got a call this morning - caller ID said "EXGHGE STUDENT".  Really!?  Like I was going to answer that - NOT!  Had no idea who it was, and it didn't matter.  But from what I see from other posts, Horizon Marketing.  This is so annoying.  Does anyone, who can make this stuff stop, ever check these posts we put up, if you do, DO SOMETHING!!
