This number was blowing up my phone. I'm from Oregon and don't know what the hell they want but I know I want them to leave me the hell alone.

Im from Los Angeles, CAlifornia and i have recently been harrased by this number as well, for about three days now. I have not answered since i do not like to answer unknown call but they call me atleast 4 times a day its ridiculous!!!!!
Someone needs to stop them and make them see the consequences of their actions....thanks to everyone for letting me of their experiences with this number I wont take it lightly.

Just called my mobile phone now.

I didn't answer because a) it was not a  number I recognized and b) I am not in the 914 area.

As a matter of fact, I am in Ontario, Canada. I see a lot of people from the US have posted that this number has called them, as well.  Must be either a computer or a solicitor

Today, I got a call from this unfamiliar number. I have a tendency to answer, so I flipped open my cell and asked, "Hello?" It was a male voice, and they asked for me, and I immediately hung up. If this is a NY number, how the hell did they get my cellphone number? I live in Maryland!

This isn't the only number they call from. Getting old. Will report, nut I do like the thought of hanging up on them ;-)

Keeps calling me.  Last night 4-times in one hour. No one is there when you anwser

I've been getting strange phone calls from the east coast for the past three days and this is one of them. I live in Cali. Wtf.

Calls my cell number 4-5 times a day when I answer they will hang up so now I just let it roll over to my voice mail and they do not leave message

This phone number calls me all the time during my school hours on my cell phone. Not only this number but another 2 phone numbers that always hang up when I answer. That's only IF I answer. It's annoying because my phone will always buzz in class.

Something should be done to have them stop.

For me, it started in July, one call. Then 10 days later, another. Then 10 more days, another. Nothing for 3 weeks, and today 3 calls...just to make up for lost time I guess.

If they are Educationready.net, their website was created only last year on 29-Sep-2008.  They've given little info if you look up their "Who Is" domain name info.

Entities that are not transparent in their dealings are obviously hiding something...and when people hide things, it's usually not in your best interest. So don't open up a can of worms, just keep ignoring them.

PS Their website was actually registered out of Fort Worth, TX 76102, even though it's a NY area code.

Also notice that their website [Educationready.net] isn't inviting...there isn't the usual HOME | SITE MAP | ABOUT US | CONTACT US etc on their main page. They're not OFFERING INFORMATION...

BUT...they sure want you to put YOUR information in the phone number field and hit that Submit button.

Why? Because they want something you have...and whatever it is, you probably wouldn't give it to them otherwise. Careful.

I answered when they called me yesterday and a lady asked my something about me education and I said i wasn't interested because I was already in school.  she then asked me about transfering and i told her I was graduating in a couple of months... a lie, but it seems to have worked.

Get this call at least 3 times a day!! its very frustrating, and yes no one is ever on the other end!

I have been getting these calls too.  I started getting them after I filled out some stupid forms on FB (I won't do that again).  I purposely gave the number of my prepaid phone (not the one I use on a regular basis) because somehow I knew the calls would start.  And they did - that very day.  Even checking that I didn't want any phone calls or emails, I'm still getting both.  Since nobody that would normally call me even has this number, I don't care how many times they want to call it.  But I would be very annoyed if they were calling the number that I use for my every day cell phone.  And quite honestly, if nobody answers after the 10th call, why keep calling??

I have got these calls on my phone from this number and about 5 others. At times it was 6-7 times in between 9 am and 2 in the afternoon. I started answering and getting hateful with them, that stops them for a couple weeks then they start again. The last number I took to the sheriffs office because the guy told me that I needed to shut up and listen to what he had to say and I didn't comply so he said he was going to F___ me!! I was outraged, so straight to the County Sheriff I went. Everytime they call me they ask for a man with a name that I don't even know anyone by. I've told them this over and over and that does NOT help!! I am very irritated that this man either used my number or something becaue they call you guys by name! I'm probably getting my # changed

Alabama here...This number calls me all hours of the day and night.  If I dont answer, they call like every 30 mins to an hour.  When I do answer, they hang up.  I am going to look into filing harassment charges if they do not remove me from the DNC list.  Maybe we should look into filing a class action lawsuit.  It's annoying and takes up my time and ties my line.

Received 2 calls today from this number also. One at 2:30 P.M. and again at 6:40 p.m. I too are on a ( do not call list). Left no message either. Can we report this to someone? Make them STOP it is annoying

They've been calling my phone once or twice every day, asking for "courtney".  I called and put myself on the do not call list, and then had to call back because they were still harassing me, and then I was told I would be completely removed after 72 hrs...In the mean time I'm calling Verizon and having their number blocked, although they call from different phone numbers as well, sometimes with even a different name for the company.  I definitely feel HARASSED, AND SICK AND TIRED OF THEM.

It has called me twice also, and has hung up both times! I at first thought it was one of my friends calling from a strange number and not recognizing my voice because I have a cold, but i'm getting suspicious!
