I can't find any info on these damn callers, but I tell you this..one guy said that I won a $10 Visa Gift Card...I just hung up. - NatsThe Indian guy just called me. I guess he's called before but I ignored the call. I answered and once he asked for my credit card type I hung up the phone. I couldn't here very well throughout the whole call so I didn't here how I won gift cards for my family. Good thing I googled this number.
And did anybody else hear alot of commotion in the background of the call?? Very strange, everyone beware! - ShahaneThey are calling and not talking.
- Candid| 2 repliesAlways use Call ID, and if no ID is displayed, do not answer.
And for annoying ringings from unknown sources, just add the phone numbers to REJECT.- Caller: 914-339-5641
- CampClan7 replies to Candid| 1 replySo glad I took my dad's advice & googled the number that keeps calling me! I refuse to answer the phone if I a)don't recognize the number or b) have the number stored in my phone. I did a Google search for: 914-339-6541 & found this site. I just checked the number of times this number tried calling me. From 9/2/2011 at 9:24am to 9/6/2011 at 10:38 am I have received 21 calls from this number! Half of them all on 9/3/2011. Can someone please explain why an idiot would call that many times & not leave a message. Or get the hint: I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!!!
- not Michael replies to CampClan7You might be able to block calls from this number. Ask your provider.
Or put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring". That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore. - UNKOWN| 1 replyI got a call from this number and asked about my debit card details to ship $100 Walmart gift card. I told them my card number, security code number and the moment I started to tell about the expiration date of the card I just cut down the call. Later on realized someone trying to fool me...
Don't believe this call.
I got 4 missed calls from the same number....If it's really from Walmart that should be toll free number and if you get another call from the same, the toll free number should be changed...so in either way it was not correct for my case so I just cut down the call.
Please be careful with this number.....
I'm not sure whether I'm correct or not...Judge yourself.... - JoseCall and ask for me by name. the phone was disconnected by coincidence.
- not Michael replies to UNKOWNIt was not from WalMart. It was from a scammer. He wants your debt card number so he can take all of your money.
Call your bank. Do it NOW. The number is on the back of the card. Close the account. If you work fast enough the scammer may not get all of your money. - rickkisueI have reported your scam to the local police department. Hope you can run fast!
- Caller: Scam, try to get cc #
- rikkisue replies to tonyThis is Scam artists trying to get credit card information. If you have caller id, don't answer, but I have reported to my local police scam dept., and YOU SHOULD TOO...it is the only way to stop them.
- ElleThey called here too. Must be from some online form that sold my info. 8-|
- NicoleWe got a second call from this number today, husband answered, they told him that -I- filled out a survey for a $300 gift card (which I didn't do, and whenever I see surveys along those lines I think immediately -scam-). He said that they should have our home address and just mail it to us. The lady on the other side said that we needed to pay shipping and handling, and I heard this through our phone, so I stood right next to him and said 'I didn't fill out a survey, this call is a scam, hang up.' And we hung up, and I called back and used their 'Do Not Call List' option on their call list. Hopefully it works. But if this number calls, and you have read this site, tell them flat out that you know it's a scam and that you'd like to be removed from their call list. That way if they continue to call you (say 22 times) you can report them to the FCC and whatnot. If I get another call from them, I am not only reporting them, but I am taking them to small claims for my $1,500.
