The caller asked for 'Rose" (last name).  The last time I got a long distance call asking for "Rose", my credit card was used for purchasing Black Literature, Romance Novels to put it mildly.  And I gave them no information.  I do not know how they found my Credit Card Number.  The company was Black Essence.  The only time I have ever used the name "Rose"  was when I attended Tennessee State University.  The only reason I used it then as it was the first name on my birth certificate.  I have never gone by "Rose" anywhere else.  I think TSU should be investigated in this matter.  I will report this to my police department and tv station.  I attended college in 1990 to 1994.  They stated that I was receiving a reward because of an on-line survey I had answered.  I have NEVER answered an on-line survey.

The caller asked for me by name, when told I was on another line, they RUDELY hung up w/o another word!  They wouldn't I.D. themselves

This person keeps on calling and not saying anything i told the person i will report them

Yeah some Indian/Middle Eastern guy called me from this number saying that I won a free gift card to Walmart or Target. I asked how did I win this, he just avoided the question. The background noise was very loud... He was either in an office or in the middle of a mall or something. When they asked for the credit card I just hung up.

I keep getting phone calls from this number allll day long! Its getting to the point where I am now getting so frustrated that I want to try that whistle idea then if they call again I'm going to tell them if they dont stop calling me then I am going to report them to the police. This is so irritating because I have other people that need to get in touch with me for emergencies and they cant if these [***] keep calling. STOP CALLING YOU DUMB [***]!!!!!!! Please and Thank you.

They call me all day every day for a week now.I dont answer any calls not programmed in my phone.Just wish they would stop.

i think its funny that if you call them you can be put on the DNC list...who knew!?

Have been getting phone calls from an anonymous "private" number for the past four days, sometimes 2 or 3 calls per day. Got another call today from this number, 914-339-5641. Also one last night from 405-788-6739, called me by name, and stated that I'd won some sort of sweepstakes. I said "no thank you" and hung up before it went any further. The whole reason I no longer use my landline is because of telemarketers and calls like these, now I have to put up with them on my cell? WTH!

This number is a scam...Asked for 4.95 for shipping my 100$ gift card which i know doesnt exist!!

I've been getting these call for several years.
This what I've found to be pretty effective.
I made a list of spam callers phone numbers and when one of them call, I answer with
AN INDIAN ACCENT AND SAY HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, AND I DO NOT IN GAGE IN CONVERSATION WITH THEM. This drives them crazy and they hang up.
Mission accomplished! Then they put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST. !!!! I win.  

Now, those call have dropped off a lot.
It works for me, Try it You'll like the results.

This is a plea.. A man I met on line says you are his travel agent.. Wants me to wire money to you. So he can come to see me.. Do you know a James Anthony in Toledo Ohio?

What were his exact instructions to?  Do you plan on getting with Anthony even though you've never met him in person?  That sounds risky.  Please don't wire money to anyone!  You don't have near enough information to trust that guy - or even me, for that matter!
