In reality, the National Do-Not-Call Registry works with the vast majority of legitimate businessmen, who realize that cold calling folks with a sales pitch is not the way to make a lot of friends. Use your creativity and put yourself in their shoes - what would they want to hear from a sucker? Always give phony personal info if asked, file a BBB complaint if possible, and try to get a mention of the DNCR when you sense they are tiring of the game and are about to hang up. No problems, only solutions...and actually GREAT SPORT!

Getting 3 or more calls a day and am tired of it.

Redialed this number and heard: "Hello and thank you for calling. If you'd like to be placed on a do not call list for the number that called you, please press 1 now. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please allow 48 business hours for your request to be processed."

They call 14 times a day i answered one time and told them not to call again but they do. They are on the do not call list but keep calling.

Same here. I did some online searches for auto insurance quotes and I'm paying for it now. I get calls from random phone numbers all day long now! Just having to block the numbers as they come in. Makes me cranky!

this is a fake company and they scam they called multiple times a day at any time day or night and even if you're on the Do Not Call list they still call.after looking up the phone number online . A single person can identify what company it is and what do you ask the people calling they hang up.

Caller ID Auto Insurance. A man's voice with, I think, an Indian accent asked for someone by name. I told him he had the wrong number, he apologized and hung up.

tards call 10 -15 times a day - wont remove me - they want to sell - solar panels - mortgages- windows - auto and health insurance- they are cold calling and then have another company call you - have now bought a call blocker and screener   tpo rid myself of these pricks - they are calling from india -
