916-347-0717 calls me about 3 times a day; don't know who it is, but I am tired of running for the phone. I have reported so many numbers and also signed up for Do Not Call service, but nothing works. I hope someone will start to listen to all of us who are complaining.

They call on my cell phone, so what I do is look up the number on Google, and if it turns up on 800notes or a similar site, I save the number as a contact, label it "spam", and set the ringtone to "no ring".  If they call again I won't hear it.  Thanks to everyone who comments on sites like this, so the rest of us know what kind of call it is.

I'm glad you enjoyed the post.  I don't understand the majority of people posting here.  Rather than lament,  why not have fun with these calls?
When I have the time, or when I can talk to them and work on a chore at the same time, I play with them.  I sometimes answer the phone with, "Jones Funeral Home, May I help you?"  I have also handed the phone to my 3 year old grand child.  I've handed the phone to my 10-year old Grand daughter and allowed her to have fun. Now when the phone rings, these kids fight for the chance to get the phone.
I've also pretended to have a hearing problem, causing them to repeat and repeat until they become frustrated and hang up.  If you are bi-lingual, use it.  This really drives them  crazy.   As a closet curser, I take the opportunity to spew my store of curses at the guy on the other end of the phone.  Feels soooo good!  This alone causes the recipient of my cursing to actually leave me messages.  All he says, is "[***]!", over and over again.  Rather than anger me, I LMAO!

They called, number from California for auto insurance on caller ID I live in TN why would I but insurance from CA. No message on answering machine, I'll block if they call again.

Caution, 916-347-0717 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

9 calls in the last week, I never answer these, always check out of area calls first. Blocked this one but still get one ring.

Update to myself: 5 calls in the past two days.  Fortunately I set my ringtone for their number to "No Ring" with the first call.

Also signed up for an auto insurance rate online and have been getting regular calls. Darn it anyways.

Several calls day & night, never a message.  Looked them up & they are scammers.  I am on the Do Not Call registry and I would like them stopped!!

My phone number is registered (and I have recently verified that it is still successfully registered) with donotcall.gov --- The call was a sales call regarding auto insurance. I have not inquired anywhere about auto insurance, so this call was clearly in violation of donotcall.gov's caller list. Insurance companies need to be held to high ethical standards. Anyone considering working with this company should steer clear.

Here is another broken english speaking worthless caller to add to your reject list!

If everyone did this, it would put these jerks out of business.  They have already stolen from you, though.  They have stolen your time and the use of your equipment and service.
