Call came to my cell (which is a big NO NO) 2-12-09 3:32 p.m.  I answered and it was about a great deal on movie.  I told them to get my # off their list and hung up.

I too wonder how they get cell #s.

Also on DNC registry.

They were calling to tell me about a movie that was coming out in the area. They were quick and polite.

You are a liar as this is faaaaar from a new movie and there haven't been any more remakes since 2007. Why are you realy calling?

Got a call from this number, did not answer it but looked it up here.
It seems I get strange #'s calling me after someone texts me from a computer id such as aim.  I hate this.

I get the same calls. These call cost them almoust nothing but the persons time. If you want nothing and hang up they win. The key is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, then the cost goes up. Every few seconds is another call they could have made. If I have nothing to do I keep them on the phone as long as I can. I agree to everything and get details of everything until it's time to pay. Then I put them on hold to go get the payment. After a few of these unproductive 5-10 minute calls it will either become too unproductive to continue or they will get pissed with the people playing their own game and quit the job. If we all do it they will loose big money. Please repost this as much as you can so we can make an impact.

I think it is just a small indie movie, which is why most people haven't heard of it. I looked it up on IMDB and it checked out.

Computer calling every cell number.  Advertising a childrens' movie.  If you ask the recording questions you get transferred to a real person to complain.  File complaints with the FCC and your state.  These people have made themselves famous for their illegal marketing activity.  Not a good example for your children.

They called me early in the day advertising some movie. I asked why was he calling me cell phone and wasting my minutes. The guy just repeated his little message so I hung up on him.

We got calls from this number on all cell phones we have - We are on the DONOTCALL REGISTRY - so, WTF? Don't call us, we don't want unwanted calls...

Received call @ 11:36 on my personal cell phone (which I have on no-call list)from a nice guy named John. John was asking me to check out a new movie this weekend. I didn't hang on long enough to hear any more. I DESPISE these invasions on my personal phones !

Go to the web site of Carmike Cinemas and leave a message that you will boycott them if they continue to deal with movie companies that unethically and illegally call cell numbers for telemarketing movies. Regal (the largest owner of screens in the world) has agreed not to air this movie

John was the caller.
He talked about the upcoming movie.
He also asked for my e-mail and mailing address.
Is this a scam?

Received this on my cell phone. Hung up on him as soon as I found out it was a sales call.

More people should do this

Answered and this guy asked is the lady of the house was there.
Then I said, I was the lady of the house.
Then I didn't hear if anyone was on the other line so I said hello again and he got all offended and hung up.
