i've got the services of time warner cable through them.. they are actually the master dealers.. i was using at&t and they called me and offered me time Warner cable and i got the installation about 2 months ago.. it's not a scam

i dont think this is a scam, day before yesterday they just called me and told me about the package of $99.99 of TWC ,so that actually sounds good to me so i placed the order and they ask me DL or SSN any one for one piece of identification which i given to them and today i just had installation so not everyone is scam you should give them a chance if they are not asking for credit or debit card .. so GOOD JOB

This "person" has called me about 15 times in the last few days. Today I answered and you know what I heard? Nothing. This moron just sat on the phone and listened to me. I have reported it to the authorities so hopefully I will have some answers very soon.

Unfortunately no one here can do as you plead. This is simply a website to help people identify unknown phone numbers. Perhaps try a call blocker if you get a lot of unwanted calls.

Got my first call from this number and name tonight. Didn't pick up and no message left. Decided to check it out and, of course, it's a scam with months of reports. Why doesn't the FCC stop these jerks?

They call often. No response and they hang up.

I got a call from this number (showing Starnet on the caller ID).  They did not leave a message.  That suggests a telemarketer call, so they are now on my blocked call list.  I am on both the federal and state DNC lists and have an unpublished number, yet these people still get my number.

I've started giving out 20 year old CC numbers with phony expiration dates. My name given out is Thomas T. Train. Make up SS number. I figure they will spend hours trying to steal from someone that doesn't exist.

Called and all they said was "can you hear me' so I hung up especially since that is they type of scam that is going around now.  If you say "yes" then they have your permission to do their dirty deeds.

Got a call from this number trying to hard sell me first it was for Att&t them switched to say it was for time Warner( which is not available in my area) he said it was available he wanted my birthday then my ss# when I didn't give him that the wanted my phone provider account number which I wouldn't give him. I finally hung  up.this is a total scam to get private information. Beware.

not only do these scammers use the traditional methods, they are able to target you by way of your interests. Perhaps buying info from the internet or some other means. I am very sorry to say this but India scammers are ruining the reputation of everyone with an Indian accent. I guess in a way they have made me racist. as soon as I hear the accent I do nothing but waste there time among other things. please add a call type "scammer". Claimed to be time warner cable then as I fed them information they tried to sell direct tv. then when i called them out that time warner cable doesn't sell direct tv they claimed to be a 3rd party selling both.

I got called by this number. It said STARNET but she said she was calling from AT&T. SCAMMER!!!!

In ancient times they used to cut the hands off of thieves -- I think it's time we brought back that practice.  Cut the hands off of these identity thieves and scammers who steal your personal information.

Looks like it's slide whistle time again. I guess that doesn't work for robocalls, but once a real person on the other end gets an earful, that's usually the last time they call.

Didn't know number so I don't answer. Besides you get put on a list of live answers that they sell to other scammers. They ring 3X and hang up just before voicemail hits so no message left. Obviously unimportant and now blocked. These scammers just keep calling CONTINUALLY from various new numbers. How aggravating!!

Notice this thread (917-423-3933) is about a year and a half old.
It used to be that you would come to this sight to find numbers with several pages dating back years.
These thieves never quit calling no matter what you do. It's best to never answer calls from those you do not know.  We've begun blocking entire area codes from calls like this one where we don't know anyone from this code.  It has made a big difference as these sheisters usually have several numbers in each area code they use. (always a spoofed number)  Once they're blocked we don't hear rings from any number from that area code. This could end, but the politicians don't serve the people. These criminals should be in jail.  To give you an idea why we despise them so much:  Once they determined we were blocking area codes they called from different area codes without duplicating once until those ran out.  Now they are still calling us from numbers within not only our own area code but within our own exchange, complete with names attached to them to appear legitimate on caller ID.  All spoofed dead end disconnected numbers.  And then there is the constant mix of repeated long distance calls (also spoofed) such as this one, both old (blocked a long time ago) and new.  So they know they are calling people who have gone to great lengths to block them and try to stop their harassment.  Our next step is to block all calls except those numbers we put in a white list.  Hopefully that will put an end to it once and for all.
