Ive no auto violations in over 35 years but this Jack_A_sses keep calling my cell with threats.  They have my middle name wrong so know its them "fishing" for whomever they are really looking for.  I filed a formal complainant w/all necessary state and fed offices and sent a recorded version of this harassing phone call to our biz lawyer who will be filling whatever he can against them for ongoing harassment.  Hope we get to sue.

I filed against them for ongoing harassment. We own no money, never had a suit or accident and these basssstards keep calling and calling.  I REALLY hope we can sue as I've recored ALL calls that they never bother to speak or leave a message.

Even thought we've told the (RECORED by us) we are not the person they are looking for, they continue to call and harass us!!!  As they state I've been in an accident (which I've never been in one) I called our local police and filed a complaint w/them so its on file.  I can only hope a suit develops behind this gutter dwellers

pretty detailed msg on answering machine, looking for a patrick lehey, about car accident in sept 2015, contact a stacy dash at 800-359-1975 and a case reference, oddity do not know any such person,  clean driving record in my state, no tickets, no accidents , nothing. never been to florida either...after reading responses here will be contacting bbb in my state...

msg stating i was in car accident sept 30, since my car need engine work for 6 mo. now- highly unlikely. been parked in back yard since then. and sept 30, i was in hospital......scammer i think.

They called me from 941-744-1042 seeking $11,000 and said that somebody by the name of Jeffrey Kent was in a big car accident while driving my car six months ago and my car was towed from the accident. I did not know this guy Jeffrey and I never ever let anyone use my car! I told them to give me the police report number so I can check with the police tow reports and get the plate and model of the car that was towed from this accident. IT sure was not my car!!!! Also, my proof of insurance is always in my glove compartment and my insurance company never called me. Those people are a bunch of [***]!

Phony debt collectors.  Trying to scare you.  Block the calls.   That is not the typical story they are using, too many details that are easy to check out and disprove.  Sort of insulting your basic intelligence.

Same as everyone else called and said i owed money called them back on a different phone and hassled them a bit and they lady was very rude. This is a total scam I may of been in a accident (no where in the time period they stated) however I had insurance and never heard anything from my company. I actually called my insurance company after and they stated that it was a scam and I did not owe any money.

May have been in an accident? Most people know when they have an accident. But if you claim you had insurance, simply let them handle it.

This is a scam don't contact them don't give them any information! Not attorneys! Contact corporate headquarters of the company they represent !!!!

As a subrogation collection agency, they are not subject to FDCPA rules.

I received a call from them myself on yesterday saying that if I don't pay them my license will be suspended although I already went to court and I am on a payment plan by the judge

Didnt realize these were scammers untill after i did some research gave them 1500 untill i called my insurance company and they didnt know what i was talking about the other guy had progressive not hartford insurance from someone who got screwed please do your research before you give anybody money

Car registered in my name with total comprehensive insurance was STOLEN and involved in accident. This company representing other party’s insurance keeps phoning and sending letters demanding payment and threatening to suspend my drivers license.  My insurance company has told them repeatedly that insurance law in state of California says neither client nor client’s insurance company is responsible for auto taken without permission and involved in an accident,  checked with my attorney who quoted the same insurance laws under which myself and insurer are protected.  Their Subrogation Specialists need to learn the laws before continuing to harass people.

If you are represented by an attorney, then you should be telling them that by certified, return receipt mail, or have him send the letter.  Subrogation is not covered under the FDCPA.  However, you could file a complaint with the insurance commission against the other insurance company.

BBB has this info on them.  Very unprofessional when calling, but yet threatening...DMV will send a letter of DL being suspended when true.  SCAM!

They called and asked for someone else. When I said I was not them, they hung up. Seemed sketchy but not as sketchy as what other people are reporting.

Did it get suspended?

Called several times in a row.  Said they wanted to tell Cheyenne about her drivers license and registration being suspended (nobody by that name is here).  Seems like a phishing scam.
